"....Many of my friends gave up and went back to Destiny, ESO CoD because they said it was too repetitive, and I was like what? I stopped playing each of those games b/c I was doing the same thing over and over and over...."
In Destiny, we do the same old things, but differently.
In No Man's Sky, we do/explore ever-new things, but samely.
It's all about what kind of repetitiveness you can deal with.
This is, to me, the fundamental flaw in the game. There's no posterity. I can spend ages naming and exploring on one planet, but the moment I leave, I can't find my way back. Let alone five to ten planets ago.
I'm like Alice, falling down the rabbit hole. Who gives a f*ck what I discover if even I can't return to it in a meaning full way.
At least put some effing footprint icons on the star map so I can have a sense of history and origin...
Awkward. Someone has clearly mistaken the word "cheese" with the word "tactic".
Yeah, but I will miss their games having that badass black screen at startup with the splash:
Sony Computer Entertainment
.....Presents..............
It's gone two goddam years without a video chat app, and being forced to play music off a thumb-drive is archaic nonsense compared to PS3.
NX, for ME to be interested anyway, needs:
a) 3rd party support
b) as or more power than PS4/Bone
c) lineup of great apps (Youtube, Twitch, Skype, etc)
d) at least one gen of backwards compatibility. I'm not buying a WiiU just to play the upcoming Zelda.
Atheists and nihilists, I expect?
"...whoever did it should be punished very hard so it would become a learning lesson for those who may think about something like this..."
Society has thought this way for centuries. But nothing changes because crazy/broken/insane people Do Not Learn. They do not think like normal people do.
Same with suicides, really. You cannot reason with a suicidal person like you can with a healthy one. By the time they need help, their brain is already speakin...
Soooooo whaaaaaat?
I can't decide if it's W3 or BB for my personal GOTY.
W3 has superlative content and replayability, but I still HATE how slow and tedious Geralt's movement response is, as well as RPG systems that lock you out of using all powersets at once within a chosen tree.
Bloodborne has less content and story and poor-er enemy balancing, but blows every other game (I've played, ever) out of the water with its boss-fights and soundtracks.
Same here
**grumble grumble**
Yeah but then other sites will provide that info and people will look elsewhere than N4G when they want details.
**** off with your media manipulation.
Inwards I was all like

Remember, you were here when it began :)
Don't settle for so little.
It's cool to hate on social features, but as time has passed I'm actually enjoying them on PS4.
We've gone two years without a video-chat app though.
That's.....that's not good. I've made friends that turned into RL friends over time and video chat could catalyze that nicely. Had to go outside PSN so far and that's annoying.
Pffft, have you played The Last of Us?
It's like Asians don't even exist.....
The screen is 544p, and will nost last longer than 5 hours at full brightness.
Get your facts straight, please.
Loved my Vita, but a poor system storage philosophy , coupled with bad battery life and sub-HD screen made me use it less and less. Compared to other mobile gaming solutions, anyway.
Gravity Rush, tho. I sincerely hope it has a future.
I got excited that I was gonna get to play the whole zombies saga on PS4, but then I read the article :(
