There is no set timescale since tablets have serious battery, thermal, space, chip size, etc. limitations.
When it comes to do anything intensive, tablets are hot garbage.
They have their place and also their limitations.
Nothing wrong with laptops with 32+ GB RAM, 8 cores, 2,000GB HD, dedicated graphics, etc. btw :]
"Ps5 will be pocket sized."
Yeah and underpowered due to thermal, battery, space limitiations, the lack of a fan, difficulties making chips down near the 20 nm scale, etc. etc.
I would be happier if most of the focus went into making it better, not smaller.
Also, they are just talking of tablets touching PS3 level graphics, so I dont know which branch of Nvidia this author works for.
It looks the same as the first one.
I didn't preorder in time and I got a good deal on them.
Coincidentally, I plan on getting two copies of Dragon's Crown to go with them.
....one for Ps3 and one for Vita.
More good news.
I just got my 2 artbooks I ordered on ebay in today!
They're pretty sweet....
You seem to be in the small minority so their personal opinions must be based upon something.
Exactly, another reason why it will likely offer better quality for both multis and exclusives, at least technically.
I think it's the best value even if you do plan to play online, especially with free to play games like Planetside, etc. being available.
Also, in my opinion it will probably be better in terms of multi-plats and exclusive titles in general.
Lot of damage control articles today.
I think it was something about boobs.
Something we can all agree on.
That's if wired is still alive.

I get the feeling from this thread that everyone loves the Vita.
Also buying the Vita is a good idea.
I would get physical copies of the games you mentioned to add to my collection anyway.
$200 US Vita with a memory card would be a great deal imo!
That alone makes his statement illogical, if he really said that, which it appears he did.
I've made some accurate predictions and I say the Wii U has the POTENTIAL to surpass his 30M prediction by at least 10m (easily) if Nintendo plays their cards right.
Your 1 disagree was from Pachter.
He's just like a talking head or something.
What?
You can play online and actually play FTP games without dishing out any money up front as far as I know.
I prefer physical copies but still think PS+ is a great value.
You get discounts on games you actually buy as well and you can still buy physical copies to add to your collection....
Wtf are you talking about?
Guess maybe you're kidding.
Wii U will be sitting right next to my PS4 if it goes down in price
:]
Never go full retard.
As a former developer I agree for the most part. I am happy with the Vita the way it is but wouldn't mind some more software support or being able to boot a real Linux distro. You could use the back/front touch as a mouse for example, along with a virtual keyboard. :]
There's something relaxing and fun about these games. I would really like pick this up or maybe for the Vita.
