Carrying a book around and reading it when you have the time is different from spending 1-3 hours straight with an RPG. Plus you can skim over the parts you found boring.
The description of The Swoop satire makes me wonder how un-PC Victorian pulp lit must have been.
I try to avoid playing online with headsets on. It's funny how headset communication has gone from a must-have feature to something a developer would try to discourage.
The more memorable the game, the less likely it gets treated like it's disposable and the less likely it gets traded in.
Always felt bad about missing Lost Vikings.
Looks like a game where the people who need to play it will not be among those who will play it.
Poor arcane steam lightning: The nerf bat is still the strongest weapon in any video game.
Wouldn't it be hard for a DS demo to create something of the same scope as a 360 demo, which uses your hard drive space to store the game? Still, good luck to both games.
I didn't remember all those quotes even though I beat the game. Still, maybe that's the reason why I liked Link's Awakening and Majora's Mask more than the traditional games: They don't re-use the same plot.
I'm equally disappointed at not being able to learn how Guitar Hero ends.
So this game is about more than space Nazis? I like these plot discussions.
So much red tape to go through before you can actually enjoy a game...
My Scott Pilgrim game remains unfinished because of these. Well, that and freeze bugs.
How can you forget Space Jam?
It's all Frank West's fault.
MVC3 needs Howard the Duck. His moves will all be from MVC2 characters that people would rather have in the game, including Hyper Viper Beam. He would be a joke character for the ages.
Can't be worse than Jurassic Park 3.
Personally Mario Kart Wii was disappointing too. Square Enix is a strange choice to develop sports games as well. Hopefully the next console generation will have Nintendo back at its A game.
I'd take a bunch of songs that flow naturally into one another, regardless of series or source. Doing that would be the difference between making a bunch of singles and making an album.
Maybe kids still have some sense of childhood joy when it comes to finding a new game. Letting kids have 24/7 access to the Internet so they can see every trailer that comes out seems like bad parenting.
