Yeah, I think we all knew this was coming.
Also, why is this in the 360 section? Does somebody know something we don't know?
(Hint: I'm kidding)
Well, I agree with you in the case of hardcore gamers at least. Casuals are still going to love their DS. At least we're getting some nice service on the PSP, though. Can't wait to get mine next week.
Yikes, you could buy a whole new console for that price. Heck, I felt bad enough buying a Hori stick for my 360 for $130.
Always nice to see more patches for this game. It's a ton of fun to play with friends.
So obviously 90% of these comments are based on the title alone. Read 1.11 if you're too lazy to read the article.
You're assuming every single person with a functioning PSP is going to go out and spend all that money on a Go. No need to buy a new one unless you really really want it.
The Jaspers will probably last just fine. Falcons are up in the air, leaning toward no (mine is still kicking, so I haven't lost hope yet). Launch 360s, no way.
Isn't this the first list of fixes that came after the patch? They fixed the Ambassador shooting through gates first thing, and there's been at least one other patch since then.
Edit: As I suspected...

There's been 2 updates since.
Burnout isn't going anywhere. GT isn't competition for it at all. They're completely different racers. The other games you mentioned are definitely straight competition, though.
The people boycotting are just crybabies. They need to realize that what they're adding to the sequel is much more than the first ever offered. Valve is even considering adding the first campaigns to the second game to make up for the quick sequel turnaround.
Besides, those boycotting are just s small group compared to the sales of the first. I even bet 95% of those people are going to buy it anyway.
Well, Halo 3 did look better than Halo 2, but it wasn't that huge of a graphical jump for how much the hardware jumped.
Looking at ODST, Bungie definitely did some work on their Halo 3 engine. Maybe the new engine will be better from what they learned with their last engine.
I've never played a Monster Hunter game (never have the right consoles, but shame on me anyway). Since I'm getting a PSP soon, I gotta try this out.
Natal is potentially a big leap in gaming technology. Purely based on software (which is what us hardcore gamers care about mostly), I'd say Sony won, but I think Natal took the show all around.
What's the point of making a game if you're not confident in your work? If they don't strive to make a better game than the competition, then they'll never get anywhere.
Honestly, I wouldn't be too worried about competing with GT5 either without a release date. They'll only have to worry if they learn GT5 comes out around the same time as Forza 3. Sure, some people might hold out on Forza for GT, but if they release at vastly different times, a lot of people will surely buy both ...
Wow, so many disagrees for you? People obviously don't like jokes. Bubs up.
Hey now, those were some pretty intense switches!
He's just an outspoken idiot. A 10 year lifespan is a great thing to shoot for in a console if you can pull it off. Tech gets cheaper and cheaper, and if it keeps selling, you can make a huge profit. All you need to do is take a look at the PS2.
That's good news. Probably won't be hard at all for them to translate the old maps into the new game, then.
I just hope you don't have to pay real money for cards.
I criticize Activision for shovelware and milking franchises. Look, we can both do this, Activision. Mind your own business, and I'll mind mine.
@below Yup, pretty much sums it up.
