Not only are indie games big on PC, but don't forget about the free to play model that's been a fairly recent phenomenon. PC gaming is still in its stride. It's just that straight retail sales aren't the big thing anymore.
Yeah, it's lacking a lot of good twists. Some of the ones in the list are kinda lame. I think a large chunk of players knew that Shiek was Zelda.
Heck, not only boss potential, but wasted story potential. It was almost like he was in the game because he had to be, not because Bungie cared to give him some more story.
My lord, it's a Wii game? I expected it to be for 360 or iPhone.
I'm not decided yet. I don't think I'm going to get it until I see a reason to. XP is still plenty good for me.
Touché
Though I thought the head rip was a little excessive for a video or trailer (though very fitting for GoW regardless), the ESRB definitely takes stuff too far.
I'm sure they work well, but they probably have a terrible viewing aperture. Say goodbye to peripheral vision. Heck, say goodbye to a lot of your normal vision, too.
Zangief ripped his pants...
Always good to see the overall sales in both hardware and software were higher than expected. Shame the PS3 is down a bit, though.
Blizzard always makes their games Mac compatible. I'm surprised there wasn't at least one on this list.
Yup, building your own PC is always better if you can pull it off, but still, most people aren't able to do this, so I doubt it's much of a factor in PC shipments.
More competition for me then when I play a cop =)
The game is 100% free to play. There's also a digital preorder going on now for $30 that comes with some bonuses.
The game is going to also be supported with microtransactions to buy cosmetics and such, apparently nothing that'll directly affect the gameplay.
I never played a Monster Hunter game before this one, and I'm rather enjoying it.
Started playing this last weekend with my friends. It's quite fun.
I'd say this is a confirmed lolwut.
I'll be getting 1943 on the PC down the road.
One of the best things in Mercenaries 2 was destroying in-game billboard ads. They were both unintrusive and destructible!
Well, it isn't a top 10...it's just 10 you need to have. Restricting it to 10 free games is just asking to miss a ton of the great ones.
But yeah, Cave Story is totally pimpin.
