I agree, it's well deserved too. Sony really turned it around since it's launch.

Well Phil has said that he LOVES platformers and since Nintendo tends to make the very best ones, it makes sense. It's his personal list after all so it's not like he's stating it as a fact.
I can't exactly argue with his choices though, most of those games are excellent.

Well it is one of Nintendo's most niche franchises. I mean the other two barely even crossed a million in sales. It's a fantastic game, but seriously NO ONE expected this game to save Wii U on it's own. I'll wait and see what the rest of the year will bring for Wii U. I still think they should scrap the basic and sell the premium for $279 though
Nah, they pretty much said this Direct is going to be about announced games for the rest of this year on Wii U and 3DS. So probably some new trailers for Pokemon, Zelda LTTP 2, DKC:TF, WWHD, The Wonderful 101 etc.
Well maybe if this one sells well they'll localize Shinovi Versus, ever thought of that? Also, why would they localize a sequel first?
It's shipping and already it won't work with most 3DSs. According to the article, it will only work with systems on firmware 4.1 to 4.5 while Nintendo is already on firmware 6.2. Still Nintendo is going to need to be quick with their firmware updates from now on.
Played 8/10 games on that list. I would add or subtract a few things (SMG and a few others would definitely be in my list) but it's the author's opinion.
Glad I bought this game when I did, I adored it. I'm never giving it up.

I kinda wish they'd stop lumping PSP and Vita sales together. I know Vita sales aren't the best right now but at least be upfront with us about it. But they posted a net profit so that's good.

While I do think Vita functionality with the PS4 is great, I don't believe it will have a HUGE impact on sales.(would like to be proven wrong though, Vita is a great device). It still has it's own hurdles to compensate for when it comes to PS4 compatibility as well. It's missing buttons are one example (L2 and R2 triggers and L3 and R3). I wonder if Sony has a solution for this because the Vita back touch panel isn't exactly the best replacement for triggers.

Excellent taste man, both are among my top games of this year. There is so much care, attention to detail and polish put into each of those games.
