Well Sakurai has said that the game's visuals aren't final, seeing that it's still in development. I like the character models (they nailed megaman's look), I'm hoping for some improved lighting and textures in the final version though.

I agree with you on them needing a price cut to compete with PS4, but I do think that $200 is a little steep of a cut for the basic bundle I'd say $249 for the Basic and $299 for the deluxe would be a little more reasonable. Or maybe they should faze out the basic altogether and sell the deluxe for around $279.
But overall I do agree, if they really want to do well this holiday season, a price cut is needed, no matter how much it hurts them now, it will serve them better ...

Um dude last time I checked they had 6 first party games coming for the rest of this year. Also the RPG I mentioned up there (Monolith Soft's "X") is a first party game. They have 2 more first party games confirmed to be coming next year plus they're publishing Bayonetta 2 and they haven't even confirmed whether Yarn Yoshi or Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem will be coming next year. And that's only the Wii U.
I haven't even mentioned the 3DS at this poi...
Well I guess it's mostly due to the small install base. I myself don't really have much of a problem with that, shame though as the gamepad could really function well with their games. I'll play fallout 4 or the next elder scrolls on my PC or PS4. And hey it's not like my Wii U will miss out on any RPG love when it has this bad boy coming next year

Bayonetta 2 was confirmed as a Wii U exclusive since last year. Shouldn't exactly count as a disappointment from E3 2013.
Even if it's difficult to do it now, you can't risk your system doing any worse than it already is. Either do it now, let your sales increase and cut your loses until manufacturing costs go down or risk your system failing. And I don't want to see the Wii U fail, if you drop the deluxe to $299 or less I will buy a Wii U this year. If not I'll wait till next year when you most likely will drop the price and get one along with my PS4.

Man I wish it were in my country, with Pikmin 3 just a month and a half away I would've picked one up right away. Guess I'll just have to wait for an official price drop in my country :(
I'm really looking forward to a lot of Wii U games so I'd really like an excuse to get one sooner rather than later. They have a nice bit of exclusives this year and going into 2014.

Wow, now that you mention it, I actually agree with that. Ubisoft using tablets for both Watch Dogs and The Division was really cool and while I most likely won't use those features if I play those games, it's nice to have them. Hell Ubisoft is schooling Nintendo in ways to use the gamepad for games like Rayman Legends and ZombiU. I'm with you on this. I also believe that the release date Nintendo chose for this game is really unfortunate, I think an August or even July release would've been better. Who the hell at Nintendo of America thought that releasing this game so close to GTA V was a good idea?.
I know this game is gonna be awesome, Kamiya hasn't let me down as yet, I just wish Nintendo would treat this new IP a bit better.
