Yeah, those pesky laws that allow women to have abortions, or gives those trans folk equal rights. Orwellian right enough. Or perhaps you mean the gun laws so you can't have a good old mass shooting every other week. And what's with that restrictive Freedom of Expression act where people have a responsibility for what they say. Really puts a crimp in the small minded bigots spouting hateful rhetoric and inciting violence against anyone who doesn't look like, or believe the same as...
Would be good. Still one of the best PSVR1 games, but I'd doubt it since Switchback is effectively their replacement for this. Still, one can hope.
The No Mans Sky devs already said they were patching for PSVR2
@crazyCoconuts How much effort do you think it would be to create a system which translates the Inside out tracking of the PSVR2 to the video tracking of PSVR and vice versa. Doesn't sound that trivial to me. Sounds more akin to creating a PSVR emulator for running PSVR games on PSVR2.
@vallencer Your not talking about the same thing, when games are created the developers add the capabilities for the different headsets (that they want to support at the time). It doesn't just ...
Digital Foundry have list a set of compatible drives (size/spec, but not actually tested on PS5),
https://www.eurogamer.net/a...
Prices range from £151 - £218 for 1TB
$159 for the Motherboard
$229 for the SSD
and unknown for the not yet release Intel Rocket Lake-S CPU that's also required for PCI GEN 4.0 (Read an article which reckoned a starting price of at least $112)
So basically for about the cost of a PS5.
Exceeded the raw speeds, but probably doesn't have the additional interrupt levels etc
@dazzysima It has less memory, much slower memory bus & a lower cpu clock speed also. While you could argue the reduced memory (and some of the memory bandwidth) could be offset by the lower resolution rendering, the reduced cpu capability and cpu memory bandwidth seem more of an issue. For the slower cpu memory it drops from 6gb@336gb/s to 2gb@56gb/s.
I can't believe you've used this same rubbish comment again. Seems that's the 4th comment you've made on 600gb drive. 3 of which are almost identical. Showing a real lack of imagination
You realise I was being sarcastic right?
It's quite clear that the XsX is so advanced that the current developers are simply not capable of utilising it properly. Like giving an iPhone to a caveman. Once the developers have evolved sufficiently the beast shall be released.
Ah yes, the lazy developer defense. If it's that much more powerful, surely it should still perform better without the optimization...
Not seen one game where they've said XsX is clearly the better game with it's huge amount of power. In fact quite the reverse. Lot of Lazy developers about.
Sorry, my mistake. COD mixup. The 120hz talk was for the new black ops. Read elsewhere that the 60hz limit is down to the backwards comparability. The rocket League developers have said previously that they couldn't add 120hz mode for PS5 as it required then to make a full PS5 version.
https://gamerant.com/rocket...
Not sure what Eurogamer are doing. They've got this article up, and have now got another which says ps5 does have 120hz mode.
https://www.eurogamer.net/a...
PS5 does drop slightly more frames than XsX (0.02 FPS difference by the time they stop the frame rate comparison), but to maintain the frame rate XsX has screen tear and also drops to lower resolution. So, it's exactly as the heading says.
Please select your Xbox Series X excuse from the following list
a) Lazy Developers
b) Developers don't understand the Microsoft APIs
c) It's not a proper next gen game, wait till the proper next gen games come out
d) Wait till E3
Not sure if I'm getting disagrees because they don't like the facts. The figures are from the Microsoft Xbox website. Or if they don't think the differences in memory bandwidth and cpu speed will affect things other than graphics
Series X frame rates sometimes better than PS5 and when they are, not by much. One section says 8% and another says 2-3 fps. Other times PS5 has a small advantage, except in the High frame rate mode where they say PS5 is significantly faster and more consistent than Series X.
So in the first direct comparison XsX is not the Beast that some wanted to believe. Marginally faster at times (8%) and at others PS5 matches or exceeds.
"However, the average does not tell the real story. Xbox retains an advantage in cutscenes and in some gameplay content, but again, the boost is typically small. Meanwhile, in many of the gameplay areas we tested, PS5 is significantly faster and more consistent that Series X overall" - From the high frame rate mo...
@CrimsonWing69 Sorry to be pedantic, but it's 664BG available and XsX is only 138GB more at 802, so it might manage 1 or 2 additional AAA games
@gerbintosh
I thought they'd just change the name a while back, but Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon are part of the same "Forza" franchise, but are from different developers. So, there's been 9 Forza Motorsports & 5 Forza Horizons
