If the NX has any chance of succeeding, then third party support is essential to Nintendo.

However, they also need to prove that it's at the same power as the PS4 and Xbox One. This is where the Wii U failed. Due to having the same power as the PS3 and Xbox 360, not many publishers supported it.

I would love to see a new RC come to current-gen.

However, given that the story of the first game isn't canon anymore (the characters still are, though!), I'm looking at a potential reboot more than an direct sequel.

Seeing this just makes me very sad that so many gamers play this repetitive, over-hyped franchise every single year, instead of the many, many, many more interesting games out there.

Yeah. Definitely worth it.

You can download third party software to play multiplayer, though.

Because people like me want it?

This rumour's probably fake anyway....

I'm deeply concerned. It might be fake, but even if it's real, then EA will have to try EXTRA hard to make this game good. They rushed Battlefront out the door, so there's that to consider.

Secondly, does this make the first game canon? I'm pretty sure that Disney said that ALL Star Wars games were made non-canon...

Episode 8 got delayed to December last week, Alexious.

I just hope for an E3 reveal...

Didn't EA say they planned to release a Star Wars game every year?

Let's look at it this this:

- Visceral's game is at least a few years away.

- BioWare is busy on Mass Effect: Andromeda

- DICE have their hands full with Mirror's Edge, Battlefield and Battlefront DLC.

If EA still has a SW game to release this year, then what on Earth could it be?

You want to regain my trust? Start making great games again, and by that, I mean by releasing products in their entirety, not stripping them down to the bone just so you could sell the rest as DLC....

Splatoon wasn't a first person shooter, though. It was third person.

I don't think Nate will die since he's just too popular. Sully 'died' twice already, so I don't think they'll do it a third time, although it IS possible.

I honestly think Sam is going to bite the bullet by the end of this game, and his death will prove to Nate just how risky fortune hunting is, causing him to permanently retire.

Why does that sound familiar? Oh yeah, we did this in the first three games!

Nothing new.

They seriously need to make the offline mode more robust. The SP offerings are just pathetic.

3185d ago 6 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'm sorry, but not even an ARG can convince me that this is actually in development.

I'll only believe it when they actually announce it. However, it's been too long that I think it's best to just leave it. They know they won't be able to live up to the hype.

They've already confirmed that guns will not be usable in the game. You won't even be able to pick them up.

3187d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

They're only saying this because it's now their turn to make the yearly Call of Duty game.

Expect more generic crap in the form of Ghosts 2.....

3187d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Good. Hopefully Square Enix has learned their lesson and know that we want a proper Sleeping Dogs 2, not F2P crap like this.

3196d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

They've already clearly stated that their whole focus is on GTA Online now.

I don't see this happening.

And just like that, I now have another game to buy in 2016. :)
