Yes. It is a play on words.
I am 32.
No. They just dominated the conversation after/during for the most part.
LOL well I am a pretty big Sony fan but I cannot deny that my entire twitter feed is covered in Nintendo stuff due to that Persona/Smash announcement. It is pretty nuts. They did a great job as making sure they were in the conversation outside of the actual awards themselves, which let's face it, they were not going to win anything. Maybe 2019 will be different for them, but they certainly reminded us that 2019 is going to be a huge year for them.
The argument is that regardless of not winning an award, Nintendo, through the messaging and announcements, were still very much a focal point of conversations throughout and following the show.
Why not 4K @60 on the X? I thought it was the most power console in the world? I thought it was way better than PS4Pro? Is it a concession made for parity? Is the game a beast? Is the X just not as good as people thought? Is the X running native 4k at 30 and PS4Pro Sampled 4k at 30? So many questions!
This is mostly sarcastic and I am sure the game will look and feel amazing.
Strange list. Good List.....but strange.
Well written.
I think the most important aspects that should be focused on are characters. Gameplay can always be refined. Set pieces can always be scaled up. The most important is how we can get the characters in those stories to be cared for sequel after sequel. I think Uncharted does this masterfully. Nathan is constantly expanded on, giving us a little more of this backstory with each iteration, while putting him in higher stakes scenarios. His development is why we ca...
Oh...good.
Well he did say that the NEW IPs specifically. That was the angle of the article.
Segata - themes, complexity, tone. A lot goes into what makes a game for mature audiences. You should also note that when I say mature I dont just mean 17+. I mean mature mentally. Able to handle themes of death in a way that is not cartoony. I just don't see the reason why Nintendo would rather let Sony and MS have the monopoly on that market when they can cut into it a little with a couple of high quality first party games that dont star Mario, Zelda or Kirby. Metroid Prime 4 will have ...
Good. Im tired of that shit.....................unles s its Sony....then I am all about that shit.
Yea but why? Why can't they do both?
Zelda is clearly not a game for Mature audiences. It is as E for everyone as it gets. The only thing that makes it mature is the scope of gameplay. Even then it barely touches teen territory.
Killzone: Shadowfall is my favorite of the group. Although I have not played Doom yet...Curse you backlog!
I agree, but at this point if they made one now it would be a rush job of epic proportions.
thats HUGE.
I read this as satire. Funny rant.
I am so stoked for this. All the previews I am reading, including this one, are setting that hype meter at a 10.
Hi - I wrote it. I think it may be possible that you may be misunderstanding the tone of the article. Perhaps that is my fault. I am saying that the conversation following (On multiple podcasts as well as twitter, and the indie dev community) was about how Nintendo came swinging, regardless of not winning an actual award. The first Mortal Kombat (not to mention it being a game across all platforms finally) since 2007 on a Nintendo device, MUA3 being exclusive, plus all the talk about what Reg...
