As a PC gamer, you haven't seen anything yet.

@Porkchop You don't understand computing do you? There are only so many calculations per second a computer can do. You are not going to see a TI-83 play crysis anytime soon and its been out since 1996. My 4 year old graphics card (which you can pick up for $200 now) pumps out 2.5TFLOPs more than both consoles combined.

@Sevir I am a PC gamer. do you even know how a computer works?

@Ju Ever played a PC game? The consoles are horrible. My 4 year old comput...

Unfortunately, there is only so much "optimization" can do. If we are maxing out the consoles now, you aren't going to see much improvement.

Thats the PS4 failure rate.

140 degrees is cold in relation to what hardware can handle. water boils at 212 and most hardware can handle a hotter temperature than that

@Zod I download a lot of movies and msuci, plus anime, and at least 150 games on Steam right now. Yeah I only have 1 and 2TB drives, they are starting to go bad and its time to go bigger lol

@GGJ plug a ps3 controller into your computer, get project64 and download conkers bad fur day, perfect dark, goldeneye, banjo kazooie, donkey kong 64, and thats just on the N64. Members of Rare also split off to form Free Radical which produced timesplitters. Are you really trying to defend microsoft on this one? M$ sat on Rare and its entire, incredibly talented team left. What you have today is a shell, a corpse of the bright future of gaming I saw from them. Microsoft is only tarnishing th...

Their devs aren't skilled enough to work with anything better than windows 98

As a Linux user, let me fill you in, this is BIG. It can take on the big 3 simply because its FREE. you have a computer sitting in the corner? Throw steamOS on it and now you have a steambox, that simple.

Uhh.. I spent $4000 building my PC.. I play games across 3 HDTVS(a total of 108 inches of screen) on above ultra settings. Your computer sounds like a clone that came from walmart.

Im sorry, but you are incorrect. The playstation 4 can pump out 1.6 TFLOPS as a whole., while my 2 year old outdated graphics card pushes 6 TFLOPS on its own.

Indeed. Linux itself is a much more efficient OS, to have native support in much more games now.. We will see a huge shift in power in the OS of choice.

Unity also works with the Oculus Rift, just imagine the porn..

As an owner of the Oculus Rift (See the forum thread here http://forums.n4g.com/tm.as... ) There is no stopping VR now. It adds so much to games, much more than polygon counts or pixels. The immersion is so much more true than that of IMAX or any 3D film or TV I have seen. Latency is virtually nonexistent in registering movement. Nintendo had it right with the Virtual Boy, they were just...

Also GTAV on the Oculus Rift will be epic. Owning the rift myself, I can vouch its the future..

What if.. There isnt anything better to show?

4072d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I highly doubt its as powerful as a "High End PC." The specs shown at E3 would deliver 1.6 teraFLOPS while my 2 generation old graphics card ALONE still pumps out over 6 teraFLOPS
