Halo 5 online doesn't grab me, but even then when I log in I can tell the multiplayer is good for many people with the number of different modes, solid gameplay, and solid network. There were a few times where I played it over wifi and was surprised at how good it still felt too. I don't really care for it, and I enjoy other multiplayer games more, but after playing it online I can at least appreciate what it brings, it's just not my cup of tea
Really? I sort of forgot about the chapter :/ Was a good game overall though. The ending was great and what I feel stands out in my mind most when I think of the game
Until I can get a 4K IPS Gsync/Freesync monitor at 120Hz or more for under $1000, and until I can buy a single card able to push frames well over 60fps at Ultra at that resolution for what will be the modern games by then, I'll be happy with my 1440p 165Hz IPS Gsync monitor for the foreseeable future
Not surprised. A review by Chloi Rad is usually a review I won't agree with. I feel like she either rates games too high too low, in my opinion of course
Man, Deus Ex is one of my favorite video game franchises. It and Ghost in the Shell basically got me into the whole Cyberpunk subgenre :)
I feel the same way
I think this is a good move by ms. Only problem for me, as a pc gamer primarily, my Xbox one will now be a paperweight since I bought it solely for its exclusives. If I would have known they were making this move I would never have gotten the Xbox one. I don't mind ms as a company, but as far as consoles go I'll stick with PS (and maybe Nintendo depending on if they start putting out games I like). I don't plan on buying a ms console again if they are sticking with this route sin...
Personally I enjoyed the story and it's pretty much what I was expecting. Just sucked that it just now came out
That's a nice looking stick. I should try to convince my fiance that I need it for my collection of arcade sticks
As I was reading your comment it sounded like something Major Nelson would put up on his blog to promote this console
Nah man its getting to the point now where its possible. My local computer shop is finally getting AIB 1080s. I could've gotten two MSi Gaming X 1080s a few days ago when they came in to the shop. Also i subscribed to newegg's auto-notify for when they get any of the AIB 1080s in stock and over the last few days have gotten email notifications saying some were in stock (I haven't looked there again though since I now have my card so they could already be sold out there for all i k...
Well that's unsurprising
And here I thought I was the only one that thought the graph was funny. I saw the graph and immediately looked at the increments. Very slick
Tflops is the new buzzword in the console space and automatically equates to fanboys in particular as 'more Tflops = a better console than the competition's lesser amount of tflops' even though Tflops alone isn't a strong enough indicator of real world performance. Like you said, it's pretty vague by itself
Totally agree, I got the MSi Gaming X the other day and its great. I OC'd mine as well. I was seriously considering upgrading my 1440p/60Hz monitor to a 4K monitor but instead opted for a 1440p/165Hz Gsync monitor. I tested a 120Hz monitor for the first time at my local computer shop and was sold on getting a monitor with a higher refresh rate.
Powah.
I use to rock dual GPU builds but I felt like i never got my money's worth out of the second card. In all the games I ran that actually had SLI support the scaling was poor more often than not, not to mention you can run into issues in some games unique to multi GPU setups. When it worked and the scaling was good though it was glorious, but i didn't see that kind of performance often enough for me to go SLI again. Just my opinion though
Ah yes, SLI. I had two cards in SLI last gen and it wasn't the best ROI. I'm happy having one 1080. Instead of buying a second card I bought a better monitor
Also I thought the 1080 was 9 tflops? I thought I remembered seeing that on one of their slides when they revealed it
I'm a PC gamer as well, or at least I prefer it over the consoles I own, and I am not laughing at nor upset at MS supporting PC gaming. I'm more so cautiously optimistic. I'm happy we're getting Xbox games but cautious because so far UWP has restrictions and it lacks features I feel should be there with their games. Also I could understand where Tim Sweeny was coming from when he talked about UWP and it's possible future on PC. I appreciate MS efforts but I'm waiting t...
Awesome, hopefully he shows another video when it's all put together
