Socom was the best shooter ever! No respawn, no perks, all guns were available to everyone from the start. Maps were no symmetrical and made winning all that more rewarding. Didn't have a mic, you were voted out. Cheating, voted out. Using a grenade launcher you were votes out! Most intense games I've ever played online and the most fun!
Actually if you have move already I believe you can use them on ps4, just need the new camera. I purchased 2 move controllers, the eye and the joystick controller with 3 games for 40$ off someone. If they release some awesome move games, ill for sure buy the new camera.
@Sleepless, I got Darksiders 2 for 15$ at Best Buy within a couple months of it coming out. I was able to play the hell out of it and re sell it to Gamestop for a profit because all retailers still had it listed as 50- 60$. Yes zipper is closed, love them to death for Socom 1 and 2,but man they went down hill. MAG s at least cool but Socom 4 did nothing to resemble the originals.
Agree with the article. M$ did nothing to explain why this would be a benefit to the customer and expected people to bend over and take it. It wasnt till after E3 we learned about sharing and it was even after the reversal of the DRM we learned more details. Im a self proclaimed Sony fanboy, but had M$ announced that due to having DRM first party games will launch at 45$ I would have jumped ship.
Well neither of my ps3 controllers that I got since launch have stopped holding a charge so I don't see the problem.
If you buy the rechargeable battery pack. Which I'm sure is proprietary M$ technology so I'm sure that alone will be 60$
Maybe I missed it, but I can already see clans having spectating friends come in and call out all the information. That was always a problem in games that allowed spectating and having free cams to be able to look around anywhere at anytime is going to make it even easier.

Microsoft screwed up. They announce DRM and restrictions and announce not a single benefit to consumers. What if they announced the restrictions and said, because everyone had to buy a new game, games on our system will release for 15-20$ less than x360 or ps3/ps4? That didn't happen because publishers are greedy and want people to pay 60$ and not own the game. Give the consumer a benefit out of this and xbox will sell a lot better, and consumers will be happy.

Back when ps3 was launching Sony stated that online would not always be free to play. I don't understand why this is such a shock.
