Psvr is suffering the same fate as oculus and rift for the same reason. I have the rift. I am sure all of the products are close enough from a quality perspective... but the inability to play for long period, the lack of a must app or game and the lack of strong multiplayer experiences to make up for the complete isolation while using the device results in the immediate WOW effect followed by a quick.. meh effect... we need a killer app for sure.
They better have fifa and Madden... i bet its battlefield
No hdr isnt horrible depending on how much someone has to spend and how big of a t.v. they want.... but 120 hz is critical.
Agreed buddy. Immaturity and generational ignorance is a difficult thing to completely rid the world of. Will likely never happen, but most people are decent people.

Maybe, there will be storage on the base.. regardless, nintendo knows a lot of us dont go to the store to buy games anymore. 100% spot on.. the machine literally has to be close to perfect out of the gate. People wont give them time to refine like they have the xbox one

I have oculus and project cars looks great but its unbearable in VR. I dont typically get sick in vr either
Thats the console vs pc effect.. it really matters even if we dont want it to. You get what you pay for. Its that simple. There is a reason the entry point to oculus amd vive is so high.
Or it just makes people sick because its VR and needs a higher fps
I dont get motion sickness on most games, but in project cars its bad.. i suspect something similar going on here. Some people are writing that with cockpit games its less likely.. i suspect they read that somewhere vs. Have actually tried or purchased oculus or vive as again, project cars makes me sick for hours.. its really odd because im not susceptible to motion sickness.. so anyone saying its rare is not experienced with the hardware or not being completely honest.
Project cars on oculus makes me REALLY sick.. nothing else comes close.. and it lingers.. so from personal experience something about this article rings true.. as it was VERY noticeable..
The only people who think oculus fucked anything are internet people. I have one and everyone ive shown it to, man woman and child are blown away... its just too expensive and lacking that application that everyone can use.... all of the options out there serve a purpose at a particular price point though. Psvr will undoubtedly grow the market, which is good for everyone.... and fb will undoubtedly continue to contribute and grow the industry as well with their social networking expertise and...
Or have more than 1 machine and even better, a pc and console.. more options. Its a blessing , but everyone doesnt have to choose one or the other
Why do i see this comment so much.. im going to explain why then please... everyone who ask this question... STOP. I have an xbox one in my living room with a big a$$ tv and couch. I have an office with a oculus ready gaming pc i work and spend a lot of time with... i may get another xbox s or scorpio in the bedroom. So its f#*&king great this game works with ALL my machines. Period. Thats why. I dont want to buy 3 gaming pcs. Now stop asking this dumb question.
What about competition. Do you not recognize WHY Sony had to deliver with a great product? Its because of xbox and nintendo. If "Microsoft goes away" as you put it, what would be sony's incentive to improve beyond small increments? We've seen what happens when competion goes away.... its called EA exclusive rights and a decline in game improvements.
