I'd like to see online AND offline split or single screen Co-op for the entire campaign mode in the next Uncharted, and not just the Co-op mode being offered with Uncharted 2. The PS3 doesn't have many games with Co-op featured for the main campaign - Uncharted 3 would be a good fit for it, IMO.
I for one thought Killzone 2 would sell more copies than it has - and I know there were a whole lot more in here that previously thought that as well.

>how many 360 exclusives sold more than 2 million, now compare the ps3 exclusives, yes the 360 have a game that could sale over 5 mil but how many 360 done that, they count only on 2 franchises, halo and gears, ps3 is more diverse that's why i like it more
Come on - Forza 2 sold over 2 million, as ha...
It does indicate that one game is more popular than another though.
Did you people really think there wouldn't be an actual 360 price drop? Microsoft knew one would come eventually for the PS3. It was ready.
Come on man.
#1) It's the kind of RPG that the Japanese market loves. What are the sales of Mass Effect, or Oblivion in Japan?
#2) PS3 fannieboys go on and on and on about the sales in the US, being just PART of the overall market. Well how many PS3 owners are there vs 360 owners in Japan? Yeeeesh!
#3) RPGs like Vesperia aren't going to get the worldwide attention of the mainstream gamers. How many huge JRPGs are there besides Final Fantasy franchise, t...
The Modern Warfare bundle is a deal compared to buying a standard Elite + an extra ($38) wireless controller + Modern Warfare 2 ($60) for $2 bucks less than you'd pay for the bundle which also includes an extra 130GBs of extra hard drive space and a customized case.
The 160 GB Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Pack as advertised on Amazon.com was $400 - now reduced to $350.
If you're so concerned about gameplay length... how long was the singleplayer portion of CoD4 really?
What about MGS4 or Heavenly Sword's actual gameplay length?
> While I agree with the article fact it came out pro psn wont go well...
It didn't come out pro-PSN though.

Judgment - Deeper Look
Just because a system is free doesn't always mean that it's better.
Based on the deeper look, I have to say that the Xbox 360 offers a better online experience. It is very obvious that a lot of thought and planning went into developing every part of the experience, both off and online. S...
That there was a 10.6% failure rate for the PS3 because of the YLoD - so does that mean that 10.6% of all PS3s sold up till then fail?
The GI survey also showed that only 3.8 percent of Xbox 360 owners said they'd never buy another Xbox because of hardware failures.

E3: Final Fantasy XIV Online Press Conference Report, Analysis
http://www.gamasutra.com/ph...
Hashimoto began the press conference by discussing the apparent confusion around the game's exclusivity to the PlayStation 3 platform -- it was announced by Jack Tretton at Sony's press conference. Even so, it appears now to be in even more doubt than it was yesterday. Said Hashimoto, &quo...
> "The unexpected price point of $299 not only makes the PS3 a more viable platform for developers, but also a more attractive purchase for consumers."
Unexpected? Come on now....
Is this --> The quality of the depth of field we have, you can't do that on the Xbox, because all the post-processing effects are done on the SPUs?
That could be debatable but everything else isn't.
#1) disc storage can be remedied by using more DVDs - fact.
#2) Obviously a game requiring a hard drive wouldn't be able to run on ALL Xbox 360s - unless one added a hard drive. But hard drives are available for any Xbox 360 - fact.
FF XIV might not be a PS3 exclusive after all.

Sony boss Jack Tretton may have spoken a bit too soon when he said that Final Fantasy XIV would be exclusively on PS3. At today's Square Enix press conference, senior VP Shinji Hashimoto stated that the company is "considering all options" for platforms, and noted specifically that Microsoft hardware is a possi...
Wait and see what Sony says about it's streaming HD movie service... then we'll see what you people have to say if Sony claims 1080p movie streaming.
It was NOT the 'same old halo ce engine from xbox 1'
It builds upon the technologies of the Halo 2 Engine (and previously the Halo Engine) and is re-optimized for the architecture of the Xbox 360.
> "I do feel in many ways that – and I’ve said this to some people as well – for me this is really the first time that Microsoft and Rare are on a very similar path," said Andreas. "We’ve obviously been tasked to create experiences that nobody else can create, which explains things like your Kameos and your Piñatas and your Banjos. But obviously the hardware is aimed at a different demographic, and so we’ve always battled against that.
The hardware may be a...
Wrong.
Halo 3 utilizes a proprietary, in-house graphics engine, often referred to as the “Halo 3 Engine”. This engine builds upon the technologies of the Halo 2 Engine (and previously the Halo Engine) and is re-optimized for the architecture of the Xbox 360.
Yeah - it's not like other developers with 3+ games in their franchises, like GT, or MGS etc...
We last heard specifics on PS3's losses in May through a more official source. Back then, Sony CFO Nobuyuki Oneda revealed that Sony was, as of March, still taking a 10% hit on each PS3 sold. Given the PS3's price at the time, 10% would mean a cost to Sony of about ¥44,000.
The TV Tokyo segment also attempted to explain why Sony was reducing the price of the system despite offering new features like the higher capacity hard drive. The answer came in the form of a graph showi...
Come on you guys. He's replying to the specific manner in which the question was asked, concerning Microsoft's response to Sony's marketing strategies. Obviously he's being cavalier with his comment about wishing Microsoft was as quick to react. He probably smiled because the question was AMUSING to him.
It wasn't about giving props to Sony at all.
