Please try this, I did. Hold your PS3 controller like you normally do and see if your thumbs can reach above the top of the controller where the keypad would be. I have fairly small hands and found that I had no problem doing this without changing my hand position whatsoever. In fact I found reaching my thumbs up above the controller more comfortable than reaching down to the gap between my hands below the center of the controller. Try it for yourself!
Not everyone wants a full keyboard hanging around the coffee table.
There are so many great games coming out the rest of this year that GTAIV DLC isn't even on my radar.
Hmm . . . how long do we think it'll be until Nintendo sues? I'd probably check it out if it had sound, but silence is a bit of a deal breaker. At least there's FireNES.
Yep - no US beta yet.
"I can see the end for iPhone." Let's be realistic. The majority of people out there won't even consider anything other than the iPhone - no matter what. It's selling like crazy. It is the new standard for smart phones and mobile computing. Everyone I know has bought one or wants one. Unless all the iPhones start exploding it's already game over.
I agree. None of the iClones can hold a candle to the iPhone interface.
Maybe there will be a HR space in home where a fat guy chases you around trying to stab you. Sign me up!
Valve has a lot to make up to PS3 fans. If they are serious about making it in the console market they are going to have to suck it up and embrace the PS3.
That might be the best video game trailer I've ever seen.
This reviewer clearly just doesn't like R&C and set out to write a review hating on the series. I've played every one and I still love them.
I don't think the Laptop screen should be on the list. It's not that hard, nor risky compared to the others.
The DiNovo Mini is sweet, but too pricey for me ($132) - I don't think it would be useful enough to justify that price. But if I can get something like this to add on to a PS3 controller in the $20-$40 range I'll be happy - it'll save me lot's of time when I'm messaging on my PS3.
This article Fails. The writer hasn't used the keyboard so how does he know how good or lame it is? Just flame bait trying to drum up some traffic.
I think it's funny that every computer that was ever on Seinfeld was a Mac. It's true!
I'm going to reserve getting pissed about this until it's confirmed that the D-Pad actually works. I don't know how they can get that thing to function properly without totally changing the design.
Destructiod does a pretty good job of explaining to problem with the design here: http://www.destructoid.com/...
Crushing is pretty brutal. It took me about 10 hours, skipping all the cutscenes. Good luck!
I think the big difference is that this is an actual bluetooth device with its own power supply, unlike the 360 keyboard. It can be used with other bluetooth devices which is pretty cool.
And just because Amazon has listed it at $50 doesn't make it gospel. I won't be shocked that it is the right price, but I won't be shocked if it's less either.
