@ irepbtown: 10 doesn't mean its perfect and can't be topped, it means its top of the line. I hate when someone says nothing would get a 10 cuz there's always room for improvement, then wtf is the 10 on scale for? Why not just eliminate the 10?
well gabe, there is a perk exploit floating around that lets you grab 30 perks instead of the normal 15, but i assume they know about it and plan on patching it
you get 15 and its more than enough to make some great characters, that was one of the main gripes some had with Fallout 3, it was too easy to be a god of all trades on FO3. Made the game way too easy, even on very hard
if you drop fallout 3 and go to new vegas, you won't miss much, they have different stories and are not reliant on each other. but i don know how you feel
I would hope people who play would realize that the Swift Learner perk is pretty much a waste, you will eventually level up without the extra help, too many other good perks worth the effort
and you can only choose 15 from the ones that you get when you level up, making it much harder to be a jack of all trades. Its better this way though imo

im a huge fallout 3 fan but that Broken Steel DLC in your opinion is the best design choice in a game in a long time? really? its so fvcking short, had it not came with my goty version of the game, id be extremely pissed i spent money on it. I didn't play this on pc so im not sure if you pc players had to pay for it, this is from a console owner's point of view, Even then, the Broken steel dLC was ok at best
