I still haven't even finished GT5... good god am I behind.
Let me get this straight: your two excuses for the Wii U's lack of 3rd party support and downright miserable sales are
1) 3rd parties "had their chance" and "failed"
and
2) they're "afraid" of Nintendo?
and @ the snippy passive-aggressive comment that PS4/X1s aren't "true consoles" - really? REALLY?
Good lord...
" If they were able to do that, I'd drop my Xbone & PS4 in a heartbeat. Although not my Wii-U :)"
"Sony can barely muster the expertise to get a simple login mechanism working, nonetheless a cloud streaming service. Good luck with that, Sony! Roflmao"
"SURPRISE!! There was no real shortage. They just held stock back until the last possible buying moment, in order to create fake shortage, thus boosting demand."

I personally think the Wii u's sales won't increase drastically. When games like Pikmin 3, Wind Waker and 3D World came out, console sales rose and then dropped back close to pre-AAA release levels.
The Wii U has arguably failed to secure the attention of the industry, in other words, making it Nintendo's Gamecube. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing either. But when compared to the PS4 (and even the Xbox One's) exclusive line up + 3rd party support + curr...
I really meant to say military FPSs but I can't edit my original comment so..
Sorry but I dont let nostalgia blind my eyes on games.
I think we'll need a couple of decades until gaming is seen as a "respectable" art form.
Ask any person not into video games (such as older people) and they'll look down upon you. And that's to be expected because the video game industry became popular with kids during the Atari and Nintendo eras. But that doesn't mean progress hasn't been made in story telling.
Personally, I think we still have too much derivative junk in the ga...
This is actually pretty damn similar to my Best Buy experience this Sunday when they had some PS4s and Xbox Ones to sell. 95% of the line was for PS4 while a couple of people got an Xbox One
You're actually proud of being ignorant of other languages? Wow...
I think Sony just needs to release some high profile games that the Japanese want + more PS Vita TV advertising.
Nintendo does best with handhelds. There's no point in them doing consoles unless they're willing to A) actually involve 3rd parties in the development of their next gen console and drop the casual gimmicks or B) try their luck in grabbing casuals with a Wii-like gimmick.
I would rather play Nintendo games on the go over buying an overpriced $300 doorstop that doesn't do much other than a couple of 1st party games.
Despite the damage control from the fanboys, you really can't deny that (so far) the PS4 has been completely dominating in sales in multiple regions and has a bright future ahead.
Fanboys like you seriously need to chill out..
The only decent Wii U game I want is X. Everything else is just rehashed or too safe
Doubt that will ever happen with the U.S anti monopoly laws
or Nintendo's incompetence with the Wii U.
It's a crime that Disney has not milked (and I mean this in a positive way) the Incredibles franchise. It can easily be turned into a movie franchise and even a kids TV show..
Sorry, but I really don't see 4k monitors and TVs being adopted that fast within that small time frame. Sh*t, we barely get true 1080p programming through the shows we watch. Gaming is also not going to take advantage of 4k at least until the next console generation.
Loving my Vita and it's games, especially whenever I play KZ:SF on the bus through my Galaxy S3's wifi tether. Props Sony
IMO, this game did not deserve the bad reviews. I personally liked the game, despite having some setbacks like repetitive/long shooting scenes. I especially love the soundtrack in the game. 9/10 in my book as a great PS4 launch title.
