Why buy a Wii U when it's almost guaranteed at this point to receive little support?
I find it sad how people dislike your comment for wanting to play a game on another console.
*reads flame-bait title*
*sees it's from the Nintendo fanboy site, playeressence*
Of course, of course...
But they're talking about the digital version. And anyone can download an SNES emu and play the game with lots of customization in controls, graphics etc.
Still overpriced
Clearly you weren't around during the 80s and 90s when games used to retail upwards of $70 to even $80 (inflation not included)
Eh, this is borderline excessive for me.
WOW, 7 THUMBS DOWN for simply liking PS4 games.
This site's fanboys can be pathetic sometime...
LOL. You're going to piss people off with that comment.
3 of the listed games aren't even exclusive to the Wii U..
Stop... just stop.
Don't forget Watch Dogs, Uncharted 4 and the Order 1886. I hope the Order comes out this year but because it's such a big profile game, it might be released late 2014, early 2015. Uncharted... I'm just stoked.
Yeah... and I can also buy the amazing Playstation exclusives like the Last of Us, God of War, Uncharted, inFAMOUS and enjoy indie games through Playstation Plus. While on Xbox... MS... they're getting this time around.
Seriously. Just because the next gen consoles get shooters doesn't make them a dudebro console. That's just being ignorant.
Has Sony released any new numbers for PS4 sales? I think it's passed the 3 million mark by now, judging by the huge amount of demand and how its being held back by supply constraints. At this rate, I think the PS4 will pass Wii U lifetime sales within the next month or two.
Have they released any sales numbers for the SK launch?
I'm not even sure they WANT gamers playing on the Wii U, seeing as how the last few releases and commercials have been "casual-friendly"
I need a Metroid Prime on the Wii U in order to make me want to buy one.
@madjedi Yeah, it's always been that way on N4G. Fanboys here just don't want to see logic used in discussion apparently ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It's more important to look at the sales during the regular season, IMO. Wii U sales were somewhat sluggish worldwide during Nov. It would be interesting to see how it fares after the holidays. I personally think it's inevitable that sales will drop but to what degree, I'm not sure of.
The only high sellers on the Wii U 2014 list is DK, Mario Kart and Smash Bros (500-900k). Bayonetta and X are too niche but they'll do reasonably well (200-400K.) It's sure ...
Oh, such irony..
It's much more clear if you click the images and view them full-screen. Some shots really do show the difference graphically. I also find it amazing how the PS4 is really close to the PC version, minus a few details such as extra shadows and such.
All in all, the game is going to look good on the PS4 and PC and the PS3 chugs along quite nicely considering its aged hardware.
