Okay, so my brother gets Assassin's Creed today for the 360 and plops it in. After about 20 minutes, his screen turns green, so he resets his 360. During this time, I put Assassin's Creed in my own 360. My brother's Xbox comes back on and, surprise, surprise, he's got the red ring of death. I leave Assassin's Creed paused on my 360 while I go look up the infamous "towel trick" on youtube so I can properly explain to my brother how it's done. Coincidentally, I find multiple comments on the particular video I found where people are saying that they got the RROD right after loading up Assassin's Creed. Strange... Anyhow, I'm explaining to my brother the towel method, and he decides he's gonna call Microsoft Customer Support first. Alright, fine. So I go back to my controller and try to unpause the game and continue the tutorial, but it's FROZEN! So, I turn off my 360 and turn it back on and... no red ring. My 360 is currently still working, but with the way things are going, I expect Assassin's Creed to stealth kill my system by the end of the day.
Has anyone else experienced this or know somebody who has? And before anyone gets all Matlock on me, no, it's not just one specific disc. My brother and I live in two separate houses in two separate states with two separate 360's and two separate copies of the game.
Temper your expectations
Honestly, expectations have been set very low. At a push, one shock but otherwise expecting remasters, and other less interesting things.
It feels like the first party studios are behind their schedules due to this gaas bollocks
God of War: Ragnarok is out on Steam and Epic Games. Although the game launched a few years after the first one (on PC), the visual quality is largely unchanged. There’s no ray-tracing or advanced global illumination tech to back up the delayed release, but Santa Monica has included a variety of upscalers.
It’s possible that wires were crossed somewhere and the figure Moriarty was given isn’t the actual cost of developing Concord. For starters, $400m means the game cost more than the likes of Red Dead Redemption 2 and Spider-Man 2, which is preposterous.
Spider-Man 2 costing close to $400 million is preposterous too. Did Sony add the development of the first couple games into it as it uses a lot of those assets? Is it a tax scheme?
Sooner people understand all the numbers (sales/investments/pre-orders) are all completely fabricated in this industry, the better!
It's hilarious to me whenever I hear that Concord costed $400m. What a pathetic failure of a game.
How did this get approved? Funny if true tho
Who approves this stuff. I want them to start posting my blog as news stories....This just in, this article sucks!
I love the 360 by the way, even though I am on my third one!
I feel that is about to go tits up any day though. haha
A few on this site have said that many are always looking for negative PS3 news to post. It looks like there are just as many waiting to post negative 360 news. I guess fanboys will be fanboys.
can i post a blog about how many time i got the dre problem from the ps2. or that i had 4 ps2's and sony never fixed one (EXCEPT THE THIRD ONE)of them for free. charge me $150 just to fix it. just asking.
sorry to hear about your brothers 360.
