Most fans don't get that blame. Tabata did what he could within three years. The blame should only fall on the higher ups at Square and Nomura.

Interesting. Just a couple days ago, my friend and I were having a discussion about the handicap stigma in Japan. I'm not with the virtue crowd, but it got me thinking that the Japanese simply sweep disability under the rug. No one talks about it, the disabled rarely show themselves. We have all these crybabies demanding moot rights to their niche minorities, while the entire Japanese culture deems disability a quiet perma-shame.

My props to Tabata for going there. Game's probably going to suck, never see much scrutiny, but I appreciate the shout-out at the truly unrepresented.
