With Gravity Rush releasing on June 12th, I wanted to share how the artwork of this game came together as well as how the style of “Bande Dessinee” influenced the title’s art direction.
Gravity Rush incorporates the theme of Bande Dessinee (BD), a popular Franco-Belgian comic book art style. There are various types of BD style and they can be perceived in many ways. We first approached an element of BD we thought would fit well into the pre-existing game art. One of the differences between realistic expression and schematic expression represented by BD is that BD exaggerates the information that author wants to convey to the audience. By doing so, it conveys more of the accurate information that the author wants to be recognized.
Sony is hosting its traditional conference just before the 2024 International CES in Las Vegas. Of course, PlayStation played a part in the celebrations.
damn that is aaalot of ppl
id rather have another Gravity Rush game than a movie tbh
PlayStation Productions and Scott Free Productions have launched development on Gravity Rush—a film based on the 2012 action-adventure video game of the same name.
hmmm... I mean if it's anime it could work. I have a hard time envisioning it in live-action.
Why are they making shows/films based on IPs they abandoned? First Days Gone now this, why?
Sony are going crazy at the moment with adaptations and I really think they need to slow down and make sure the first project or two they already have in production is good before they start churning these out
Sony Pictures is not like Sonys Gaming Division, they are idiots, they couldn't even get Spiderman right without backing off the MCU and now you have Spiderman-less spin offs, Venom was meh, Morbius was awful and we have Madame Web, Kraven, Silk and more coming out.
Today marks the 10 year anniversary of the Gravity Rush franchise! That means it’s been ten years since gamers in Japan first took to the skies and discovered Hekseville along with Kat on the PS Vita. To celebrate the occasion, we’re happy to share with you a new interview with the director of the Gravity Rush series, Keiichiro Toyama!
Gravity Rush!! Y U NO come out sooner!?
This is all the game I want on my Vita. I don't think I could care less if they didn't release another Vita title(which is a lie, but hey) as long as I have this game, and PS1/PSP games to play.
She needs to be in PASBR
