Tweakdown : This industry, like every other industry loves drama. As if we didn't create enough this week with our slew of Ivy Bridge content that saw us test the Intel Core i5 3570K and Intel Core i7 3770K . If that wasn't enough we checked out the latest G.Skill RAM and achieved some massive overclocking performance. To finally round it all off we then took the time to overclock both processors to see how that went.
Between the price, performance and power draw, with the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, NVIDIA nailed the mainstream formula.
Nvidia writes:
The Nintendo Switch 2 takes performance to the next level, powered by a custom NVIDIA processor featuring an NVIDIA GPU with dedicated RT Cores and Tensor Cores for stunning visuals and AI-driven enhancements.
The raytracing probably doesn't even equal a low end PC GPU, even if it did it would probably be mostly useless. They'll probably force it in some game now that will run like shit maybe 30fps at best, just because "it can do it"
Please. I'd like to play my switch games on my 4k tv without it looking all doodoo.
Nvidia could have said this months ago and cut the bullshit. Anyway the rumors were true.
I'm not expecting of anything from ray tracing but dlss will be the thing that sees the unit get some impossible ports.
The launch of the Radeon RX 9070 series comes at a pivotal moment for AMD. Following RDNA 3’s underwhelming performance, the RDNA 4 lineup carries the hopes of mainstream PC gamers. NVIDIA’s RTX 40 and 50 series pricing highlights the consequences of a near-monopoly, making AMD’s return to competitiveness critical.
