Why Mass Effect 3 will be Most Pirated Game on PC in 2012

Commander Shepard's greatest threat, Reapers or Pirates? Here are some reason's why Origin will cause Mass Effect 3 to be the most pirated game on PC.

I bought the game, but if the Bioware's DLC is a continuation of the single players ending, I will refuse to pay for it.

Cause it is the most popular console port the PC will get this year (Hence Console Port! not worth buying or pirating cause it doesn't utilize the unique features the PC offers).

Plus all the AAA+ PC games in 2012 are now either Free 2 Play or Graphically intense thus eliminating cheap bastards with low end PC's or are MMO's which all 3 are helping to quickly eliminating Pirating on the PC.

anyway most Pirating happens OUTSIDE the United States and or OUTSIDE of countries with meaningful copyright laws. therefore there is very little that Publishers can do except have 24/7 Internet as DRM!

regardless with the PC business model 750k in sales is a lot of money for Devs/Pubs on the PC.

I'm sorry but I disagree.

I don't condone piracy but all the people who started pirating Street Fighter X Tekken because of what Capcom did I don't blame them.

Capcom is worse than the pirates...at least the pirates and hackers helped us see through Capcom's scam.

It'll be pirated because PC gamer's are cheap as hell. I've always looked at PC gaming as the slums of the gaming market. Sure there are a few people that have a killer rig, but 99% of people on PC don't have anything that great and just cant afford games.

All the pirating is evidence favors that.

Piracy is the new petitioning/boycotting.

People will pirate ME3 because of what is being done with the all the DLC (and it being a really bad console port). The old method of addressing this would have been a strongly worded letter to the devs/publishers and maybe a petition or boycott of the game ... but none of these really work. Letters and petitions go ignored and sometimes are thrown in our faces and mocked, whilst boycotts never work because there are the thousands out there either too dumb to realize what's going on or too weak willed to not throw their cash away. Or maybe boycotting does work (to some extent) and piracy is just being blamed simply because they don't want us to know we have a legal recourse that works! LOL

Either way people realize the good old legal methods do not work and turn to the only thing they feel does.

Dude, you shouldn't just be trying to land hits or a simple reaction, you should be doing it to get the community informed or active.

More than anything, getting many gamers to tweet, reddit, or spread this stuff across the interwebs is a good way to wake people up.

It's sad but gamers as consumers are idiots and unless more gaming journalists take responsibility gamers will continue to get ram-rodded up the rear-end.

Just keep the articles coming and keep e'm informed and keep pressure on gamers to do their part and not be sheep!
