Kotaku writes: "EA has warned Xbox 360 gamers that their Mass Effect 3 saved games won't import if they're stored in the 360's data cloud. They'll have to be located on or transferred from the console on which they were created."
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

Mass Effect 3 is remade, rebuilt, and remastered thanks to a huge Mass Effect mod which changes almost everything in the Bioware RPG, as we await Mass Effect 4
"Currently there is one scenario in which you cannot salvage the save file: if you have ever moved your save file to the cloud and the original system is not available to transfer it back to. We understand this may be a great setback to those impacted who have been following the Mass Effect franchise over the years. We thank you for your patience."
Sorry 360 owners.
I only use cloud for backup
I'd be so pissed if I fell into this category. Especially since according to the first post here in the comments where the scenario is you don't have the original system. Considering so many 360's (and this is not a fanboy rage comment) had problems there is a good chance people don't have their original system and they are being screwed b/c of microsoft.
Ouch.
I don't see why you couldn't just copy it back. As long as the gamertag that the savefile is associated with is on the xbox, there should be no problem.
Yep, only used for back up!
