I'm trying to do just that, a Mass Effect Marathon where I play through ME1 and ME2. I'm loving playing through ME1 again, knowing what I know about ME2 and the inevitable Reaper invasion. Already it is affecting my relationship with Ashley and Kaiden, as I know I will have to eventually make That choice 0.o

I just finished ME2 on insanity myself would have played ME1 again but my 360 is hidden somewhere in the storage room ever since I've moved and laziness is always getting the better of me.

Infiltrator on Insanity is cruise control though.

I'm playing through the final battle of ME2 over again to try to have a different outcome. I lost Legion the first time and was thinking how important his role will probably be in ME3 so I had to try again.

The 2nd time he survived but I lost Jacob and Jack. Even though Jack hated my guts I still wanted her to survive...May have to go for a third time. It seemed fitting for Jacobs story to end in ME2 for me.

Bro missing companions: Legion, Grunt, Samara/Morinth, Javik, EDI

anast137d ago

Legion, Zaeed, and Jack are my favorites.

RiseNShine137d ago

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

anast137d ago

They lost too much talent.

IAMRealHooman137d ago

some in andromeda are decent, I agree with peebee and Vetra being good companions. Except Liam he's trash tier

anast137d ago

Liam lol I can't stand that dude.

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave385d ago (Edited 385d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.

He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.
