GB : Age of Empires 3 was sort of a mixed bag for me, especially after coming from the highs of Age of Empires 2: The Age of Kings. I cannot deny the fact that I played AoE 3 online for almost three years; making countless smurf accounts, and participating in numerous tournaments. It was a game that I loved and also a game that I disliked, due to the numerous design choices that didn’t make sense to me at all.
"Last month, Age of Empires IV released for PC and it marks the first full installment of the franchise since Age of Empires III back in 2005. I spent a good chunk of time on it and had a fairly good time but before I first booted it up, a couple questions kept entering my mind: does Age of Empires have a place in gaming anymore and is the franchise on the whole still worth playing?" - Trey Griffeth from Video Chums
Age of Empires 3 : Definitive Edition has been officially rated in Brazil - signalling that the game is scheduled to release sometime in 2020.
Age of Empires III Definitive Edition is coming. In fact, multiplayer Beta sessions will take place in early February for Insiders.
Hope to see a day where it'll be on consoles again. I miss these games and C&C
Looking forward to this. Fell back in love with this game after the definitive editions launched. Ended up buying it on windows store and then again, again through steam for the third time. This B one looks amazing!
I despise AoE3.
They took everything that was great about the previous games and ruined it. To this day, I still can't figure out why they thought it was a good idea to take an expansive RTS and make it linear romp through a story that would embarrass Dan Brown.
