You speak as if anyone who is getting a Vita dont own a 3DS. A lot of people plan on owning both handhelds you know. There isnt a big fence seperating Sony and Nintendo's fanbase- oh wait, there is!. It's that mental fence called fanboyism.

I don't see how anyone could disagree with this. Sony needs this. Hopefully, this isn't just a rumor, because this could likely elevate the Vita in Japan very early in its life cycle.

Considering that Capcom's holding Tigrex (wyvern originated from PSP's MHP2) from appearing to 3DS's MH3G, I think they are holding it for MHP3G, which likely to be multiplat between PSP and PSV.

Pretty cool but where's my Monster Hunter Portable 3rd Ps3 remaster localization? Still so very upset that MH hasn't appeared on an HD console, the least they could do is port MH3 with move support.

If Sony is smart they'll make sure to get Capcom to make a MH game as I think MHP3 was the fastest selling PSP game in Japan and Capcom's fastest selling game.

Capcom wanted to release these games (p3rd, p3rd hd) in America, but claims problems on sonys end are keeping them from doing so.(something about ad-hoc party updates and trophies..) 3g 3ds is more likely to come stateside, as Nintendo themselves published the wii version and would most likely publish the 3ds one as well.
And monster hunter doesn't need sony to sell well, although it would sell more overall the more consoles it is released on.

Yep seems perfectly fair to me if the Vita gets a monster Hunter title that will take advantage of its hardware. I mean the 3DS already as an exclusive Monster Hunter game so why not the Vita?

I think that's a must. If they want to compete on the same level as the 3ds in Japan then they need a monster hunter. It would be crazy if they didn't seeing as they sold so well on the psp.

Not sure if this is true, if it is it can only be a good thing as I imagine it would integrate well in to the Vita philosophy!

Also makes sense for Sony to have this in their back pocket as it would undoubtedly make Vita sales pick up if they aren't hitting their targets for 2012..

But which monster hunter? It could either be the Wii port Tri G or the new Monster Hunter 4 which was announced for the 3DS a while back.

Anyways Capcom isn't stupid so unless Nintendo payed them for the exclusivity Monster Hunter will come to the Vita.
