Why do u think ps3 version is such lower quality than the xbox version? i believe mw3 was 620p for xbox and 540p for ps3? xbox gets smaller patch sizes, xbox gets dlc 1st, xbox gets problems fixed 1st. Face it if you want to play CoD on ps3 you have play an inferior product.

I actually sort of agree with you on this one. I will say that the PS3 version of this game is an inferior product. To be honest, I really don't notice much of a difference in resolution, but the PS3 gets shitted on for DLC. This game has always been optimized for Xbox 360. I don't believe that it's the PS3 that makes the game inferior, just the development of the game.

I personally bought the game with Elite on PS3 solely because I can play online for free. This not a trolling remark and I'm no fanboy. It's just the truth and the reasoning for my system of choice. I actually own both systems.

It's definetly microsofts influence that keeps every aspect sub-par on ps3 and pc. Microsoft gives them money and activision tells their devs to make COD games deliberately superior on 360 which just isn't right for this industry and It is so plain to see that if you really pay attention but most COD fans don't bother. It is amazing on all platforms. The quality difference is due to the platform and the management of said platform.

An example of this is on Xbox 360, voice chat is integrated into the system while on the PS3 you have to get your own voice software going. If resources are spent on getting voice chat working, well there might be less for other things...

I'm used to it. I play Cod on my Ps3 primarily, but I also have an Xbox, and enjoy playing there aswell. But It's really upsetting that some people think it's okay that Xbox gets it first. I bought the hardened edition so that I could get the 1 year elite membership which includes all dlc for free.. I have never purchased a single piece of call of duty dlc bc I think its a rip off but the hardened package for mw3 was really enticing and a chance to try out elite for $10 cheaper then the retail price.. But honestly I've got to say that mw3 has been A HUGE LETDOWN for me so far.. Its more frustrating then it is fun... If not for my elite membership I would have given up on MW3 already..

Actually it wouldn't work like that. If a company is throwing down extra money then they expect to have exclusive timing so if Sony and Microsoft both payed, one would have to pay more to get that exclusivity or else it'd be a waste of money. That's why this type of shit is unfair and I know Sony does it too but Microsoft started it a long time ago.

PS3 owners get BF3 maps a WEEK early (a long time huh?), and they're paying nothing for that privilege.

Dead Space: Extraction was there to support PS Move which Microsoft doesn't have. Nor do they have the disc space available for it, unlike Blu-ray for PS3.

And those are completely unrelated to the point at hand, because you're not paying extra for those bonuses with BF3 or DS2.

It just shows Elite on PS3 is useless if Microsoft is getting the DLC first which they always do. It also shows Xbox owners are willing to pay an extra $50 for Elite plus an extra $50 for XBL which Activision knows about. And the PSN is free and why a person does not see Sony sharing the same bed with Activision like Microsoft isthats why the PS3 always gets screwed over is Sony does not share that bed. Elite is an extra way for Activision to dip their hand into the pockets of the consumer for extra coin. I wouldn't be surprised if the PS3 owners just cancel their elite membership or don't even bother to get elite. Why pay the $50 for you to find out your perferred console gets the DLC a month later.

I know you can find sales, but the fact remains that MS' base price for Live is $60. Activision's base price for Elite is $50. So for someone who doesn't know that there are deals for Live, or someone who is too lazy to look for them, you are paying MS for the right to access your own internet connection so that you can access the service you paid Activision $50 for. That's frickin' robbery right there. Even at $40 for Live it's still robbery when you can literally get that entire price cut in half on PS3 and PC since you don't pay for online.

I really can't believe that people are ok for paying for Live, and also am completely baffled that any would pay for Elite. There are some real lost causes amongst the gaming populous this gen.

I don't really understand why people are mad, everybody knows that Xbox gets call of duty content before anywhere else. Elite does note change that agreement.

It may be different next year when the agreement expires, but I fully expect Activision and MS to extend the agreement. It has work out for both extremely well. Activision gets the Microsoft marketing machine and Microsoft gets preferential treatment when it comes to the development of one of the biggest games out right now.

I suppose I can see people who aren't aware of the deal being mad, but if you were already aware of Xbox getting COD DLC first you should be mad at yourself for paying for elite on PS3 because the exclusivity deal renders it relatively pointless.

Unless Microsoft opens the jaws a bit and you have Elite you will get things earlier than the rest of PS3 players, but you still have to wait for the Xbox agreement to pass.

If Microsoft really wants to clamp down they can make elite players wait quite awhile as long as their agreement with Activision is in place.

Not sure why anyone thought things were going to change in terms of release timing. MS cut a huge deal with Activision for this. PS3 Elite owners will still get all the maps as part of the service and most likely before non-elite PS3 players...just not before the 360 owners.

Similar to Map Packs, X360 Premium members will receive their DLC before PS3 Premium members. All Call of Duty ELITE Premium members will receive a steady stream of content released monthly for 9 months through the DLC season, and they will also receive their DLC before non-premium members on their console.

PS3 elite members get it before PS3 non elite members. Thats what you paid for, thats what you should be worried about. You just paid for all the content up front instead of by the pack like in the past. Even when you got map packs a month later in the past everyone still paid the same price right? Just like always, Xbox gets them first because Microsoft paid the big bucks. If you choose to play on a certain system then you are choosing the games, services, and rules for that system. You get what that system offers, don't complain when it doesn't offer 100% of what the other system does.

I just knew in my heart there would be problems for the PS3 versions of CoD:MW3 and BF3. Nothing goes smoothly anymore as the game developers ship out broken games as a standard nowadays,major post-release patching is annoying.So I didn't have my hopes up for CoD:MW3 MP and I mainly bought that game for the SP campaign and Survival. I've barely played CoD:MW3 MP,and I agree the level design is boring with a general small "play" area. Some of the levels look like rejected leftovers from CoD4. And then we have EA and Dice.... wow... every BF game on PS3 have been a mess for months post launch day, BF:Bad Company 1&2 was a major lag fest for a long time. BF3 "voice chat" is still broken and makes me quite angry... It doesn't even work in the co-op missions with only TWO players...it's a freaking joke.Why did I even bother spending money on a new headset when a normal 2011 MP feature like in-game voice chat is broken from the get go

It has no flow, reuses the same opening phrases, and is seriously lacking in the grammar department. Maybe that's cool for the kind of website/hobby that you've got going on, but if you want more people to take you seriously, you've got to at least finish high school I'd say.

COD was always touted as better on Xbox just as Battlefield on PS3, thats how the world works. Both paid for their console to receive extra polish. If B3 was better than COD no one would be complaining yet here we have a case of double standards. I am not a big fan of online gaming but understand that it costs money to implement a good service and even though the Elite model is paid on PS3, the online model itself is not. My advice, dont buy it for PS3 if you are into online gaming... simple, both MS and Sony are after your money regardless.

PMSL!!!!!!!! M$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ are just paying for DLC, still exclusive etc and all M$ can get is poo now. They've stolen the PS3 excluses so they're going early DLC and games that run better!
