Epic Games is one of the most successful independent game development studios in the world today. It’s celebrating its 20th anniversary this year with quite a slate of hits. The Cary, North Carolina-based game studio shipped three games – Bulletstorm through publisher Electronic Arts, Gears of War 3 through publisher Microsoft and Infinity Blade II, which was self-published for Apple iOS devices.
Now the game maker has revealed its latest original franchise, FORTnITE. The new game was introduced through a world premiere teaser trailer by Cliff Bleszinski, design director at Epic Games, at the annual SpikeTV “Video Game Awards” show, which was hosted by “Chuck” star Zac Levi.
One Fortnite player lucked into getting many exclusive offers in the Item Shop, which left them in disbelief.
Another Fortnite Summer event is around the corner! Its release date has been leaked, and once again, it will bring new skins and rewards.
Fortnite servers will be shut down early Thursday morning, Epic Games recently announced, providing more details about the process.
If they can pull it off then I would buy it...

Isn't that just like Dungeon Defenders? I'm not saying it's a bad thing, in fact I think it sounds cool, 4 player(im hoping) co-op, maybe with a mix of left 4 dead; ie: moving from area to area once the place has been over run.
In my opinion, Gears is the only game they are good at!
