get bit like I did in oblivion. Then never finish the game because of the sun, and people not liking you anymore.

kramun4971d ago

Couldn't you find the cure?

Hufandpuf4971d ago

No the guy you needed to talk to became afraid of me when i fully turned vamp. Meaning i was shit out of luck.

kramun4971d ago (Edited 4971d ago )

Well I seem to remember turning fully vamp and dealing with some witch or woman or whatever and you had to get the ingredients for the cure for her. Getting the ingredients for the cure was a chore but I never ran into trouble scaring her.

It's been a while since I've played it though and my memory's a bit hazy.

Iroquois_Pliskin4971d ago

uhm, just get in a fight with a vampire... that should do the trick, right? lol

yesmynameissumo4972d ago

That is the best story image I've ever seen. Hilarious!

On topic: I'm going for the werewolf. Have a thing for lycanthropes.

Who the hell actually wants to be a vampire in this game? It was god awful in Oblivion. At least now if you are ill/get turned into a vampire you can just go to a general store and buy a cure potion.

ddurand14971d ago

it offers variety. which is what the game is about.

Kostchtchie4971d ago

actually it offers nothing but few spells, and a restart of your chraracter when you you get lvl 4 vampire as the whole world attacks you for being a vampire

MS could compress their games on disc

raWfodog38d ago (Edited 38d ago )

Skyrim is still my favorite ES game. I’m playing through it again right now since I never finished it.

jznrpg28d ago

Morrowind is by far my favorite. But I’m getting old and played Daggerfall Morrowind and Oblivion before Skyrim

ActualWhiteMan37d ago

Yeah totally. Definitely won’t be hacking it Nintendo 🤞🏻

Fallout and Skyrim show us that talented developers make great games when you leave them alone

That judicious lack of oversight permeated everything in Bethesda's RPGs, in a positive fashion.

I much prefer a left alone Obsidian and Larian Studios. Bethesda's formula has grown old for me.

anast65d ago

Larian hit another level with DOS:2 and then took it even further with BG3. They do high quality work.

Skyrim was a letdown compared to previous games and so was Fallout 4

Kosic65d ago

I agree, I found it an interesting game. But nowhere near worth the hype (unless you include mods)

dmonee66d ago

Skyrim blew my mind when it released. That game took me to the gaming, promisedland. Going back to it when it was updated for the PS5, it felt slightly rough around the edges, but great for its time

TheColbertinator65d ago

We should leave Obsidian alone. Bethesda on the other hand should be kept under constant psychiatric observation.

anast65d ago

Skyrim feels like the game was made in a hurry with a disorganized team.

At this point, if you still don't have these games, just wtf are you even doing?
