Oh man. The companions in this game are such an nuisance...:)

slayorofgods4969d ago

Actually the companions are a huge step up from what we've seen in the past. Better a.i., always seem to find you, and they don't die as easy.

Im just sad that the pc version is a crappy console port the GUI sucks ass on pc

bumnut4968d ago

@Iroquois_Pliskin

Are you running a pirate version? I downloaded a pirate copy because my retail copy did not arrive.

I could not click on anything in the menu with my mouse, the retail copy is fine though.

benderx4968d ago

It is definitely an improvement. I just wish they wouldn't keep getting in my way though. Arrgggg!

JsonHenry4969d ago

I've had two CTDs. According to steam I've played it for 11 hours so far. So I guess that isn't too bad.

--Onilink--4969d ago

12 hours in, so far no glitches whatsoever, unless you cant the ocassional sudden movements of characters during conversations or minor clipping in objects. Nothing major though, i've always had luck with bethesda's games, never had a real bug or glitch in Oblivion, Fallout and Skyrim so far

digitalkid4968d ago

More then 15 hours in Skyrim. No crashes. Actually runs quite smoothly, except some minor animation glitches like "hand through table".

And after 15 hours I've been only to Whiterun. Damn, game is huge!))))

MS could compress their games on disc

raWfodog36d ago (Edited 36d ago )

Skyrim is still my favorite ES game. I’m playing through it again right now since I never finished it.

jznrpg25d ago

Morrowind is by far my favorite. But I’m getting old and played Daggerfall Morrowind and Oblivion before Skyrim

ActualWhiteMan35d ago

Yeah totally. Definitely won’t be hacking it Nintendo 🤞🏻

Fallout and Skyrim show us that talented developers make great games when you leave them alone

That judicious lack of oversight permeated everything in Bethesda's RPGs, in a positive fashion.

Christopher65d ago

I much prefer a left alone Obsidian and Larian Studios. Bethesda's formula has grown old for me.

anast63d ago

Larian hit another level with DOS:2 and then took it even further with BG3. They do high quality work.

jznrpg64d ago (Edited 64d ago )

Skyrim was a letdown compared to previous games and so was Fallout 4

Kosic63d ago

I agree, I found it an interesting game. But nowhere near worth the hype (unless you include mods)

dmonee64d ago

Skyrim blew my mind when it released. That game took me to the gaming, promisedland. Going back to it when it was updated for the PS5, it felt slightly rough around the edges, but great for its time

TheColbertinator63d ago

We should leave Obsidian alone. Bethesda on the other hand should be kept under constant psychiatric observation.

anast63d ago

Skyrim feels like the game was made in a hurry with a disorganized team.
