DICE Comments on Battlefield 3 Cheaters and Hackers

Global Battlefield Community Manager at DICE, Daniel Matros has confirmed that they’ve been banning waves of Battlefield 3 offenders every day and more bans are to follow soon.

in 2 matches i was flying in a jet an there was a tank below the map killing ppl so i tryed to get rid of him with my rocket pods an he was untouchable it was very annoying an when i got the game on day one ppl were alreayd maxe lvl

Can you really blame the players when reputable gaming-media practically provide a walkthrough on how to do it.

Haven't seen any hacks but yesterday i fell thru the floor on a B flag on caspian border i think and was able to kill people un hurt after the 2nd kill i stopped when i realized that being 1/2 way in the floor wasn't right and my buddies saying they spawn in some weird place when they squad spawn.

I've seen people with 5000 Points just 10 seconds after a match started...hope they fix it.

I haven't seen any specific cheating but I've suspicious of the aim of some players. Possible cheating/lag/godlike.

If they would just release BattleRecorder, I could review the games to see if there was cheating.

They should fix the part where the characters legs go into the wall when prone. That shit is fucking annoying, but at the same time everyone is using this technique when protecting an area.

DICE included cheats as part of the game. They have a hack that makes enemies glow bright orange so you can see them really easilly.
