300 hour game? I like gaming as much as the next guy but if you are putting hundreds of hours into a game you might need to look up the following words in the dictionary:

1. Outside

2. Job

3. Woman

4. Life

Disagrees will be from those who have none of the above and if they do they should probably add the term "quality" before a few.

HeavenlySnipes4984d ago (Edited 4984d ago )

lets all pretend that you are playing the game for 300 hours straight going through more diapers than a well fed toddler. I've put over 300 hours in many shooters and I am well acquainted with all of the above

EDIT: What do you mean 'quality'? Have you ever heard of playing in moderation? No one plows through a game for months straight. Over a couple of months to a year, I've spent 300 hours of my time playing certain games. I don't see how you can't fathom the thought of this. There are 8 765.81277 hours in a year, this is divided up between gaming and all of the above.

Spitfire_Riggz4983d ago

WOW players plow through that game for months straight =P

buddymagoo4984d ago (Edited 4984d ago )

1. outside (seen it before, boring!)
2. Job (less work, more fun!)
3. Woman (boobs fun for approx 15 mins)
4. Life (less exciting without fun!)

I won't be spending 300 hours in Skyrim but I don't have a problem with people who will. Each to there own.

dawgsfan1174983d ago (Edited 4983d ago )

It's these guys that give gamers such a bad public image. He said Woman. He said nothing of sex or anything pornographic.

Edit: Quite the opposite. I'm happily engaged and that is why I thought it was a stupid comment.

buddymagoo4983d ago (Edited 4983d ago )

I guess you have no libido, chill out it was meant to be a joke.

Edit: So am I and I hardly represent the entire gaming community. I think you are being a little sensitive, don't you?

dawgsfan1174983d ago

Nope. I fully stick by my original comment. I don't care if you like it or not.

rdgneoz34984d ago

You should probably have at least 1 or 2 of the things on the list before you post it...

rjdofu4984d ago

Yeah, and making dozen of comments a day on a gaming website certainly mean you have more of a life compared to them lol. 300 hours game can be spent playing for months, depends on people gaming habit. Grow up and maybe you will know that people have different ways to manage their time.

jrbeerman114984d ago

real life is OP, needs a nerf

meant2live344984d ago

That's funny. I have all of those things. Plus a 300 hour game. Guess your life just sucks BrightFalls :/

jriquelme_paraguay4983d ago

lol... comment and trolling FAIL.

Grip4983d ago (Edited 4983d ago )

hahahahaha.. he have balls to say that with one bubble and 420 comment and he Joined 70 days ago.. man u r so pathetic

StraightPath4983d ago (Edited 4983d ago )

Skyrim to be the game of this entire generation?

But also watch out for Zelda Skyward Sword too :P

lionelglitchy4983d ago

so what your saying is you would prefer to buy a game {for the same price} with about 6-9 hours of gameplay instead of one with 300 hours...hmmm, smart guy.

fossilfern4983d ago

Yes because I will be playing this game over 16 hours a day? Its a 300 hour game that will last you months if not years! I play games and I have a healthy balance of the above, plus exercise.

Kakihara4983d ago

and how many hours should one ideally spend trying to subtly show off how much of a life they have to strangers on the Internet?

Daaaaaammn..this game is as huge as it is awesome.

Letros4984d ago

Long distance relationship 4tw, won't be interrupting my Skyrim.

DryPancake4984d ago

This may just be the greatest video game purchase of my life. Until Elder Scrolls VI of course...

Pikajew4984d ago

It's not a 300 hour game. You are able to beat it less than 5 hours and can spend 300 hours playing it. You can spend 300 hours playing any game

rjdofu4984d ago

True, but I think 300 hours means you can only reach complete satisfaction (finish every side quest & achievements and stuffs) with that amount of time. Other games, it will take you less time to do that.

MS could compress their games on disc

raWfodog39d ago (Edited 39d ago )

Skyrim is still my favorite ES game. I’m playing through it again right now since I never finished it.

jznrpg29d ago

Morrowind is by far my favorite. But I’m getting old and played Daggerfall Morrowind and Oblivion before Skyrim

ActualWhiteMan38d ago

Yeah totally. Definitely won’t be hacking it Nintendo 🤞🏻

Fallout and Skyrim show us that talented developers make great games when you leave them alone

That judicious lack of oversight permeated everything in Bethesda's RPGs, in a positive fashion.

Christopher68d ago

I much prefer a left alone Obsidian and Larian Studios. Bethesda's formula has grown old for me.

anast66d ago

Larian hit another level with DOS:2 and then took it even further with BG3. They do high quality work.

jznrpg67d ago (Edited 67d ago )

Skyrim was a letdown compared to previous games and so was Fallout 4

Kosic66d ago

I agree, I found it an interesting game. But nowhere near worth the hype (unless you include mods)

dmonee67d ago

Skyrim blew my mind when it released. That game took me to the gaming, promisedland. Going back to it when it was updated for the PS5, it felt slightly rough around the edges, but great for its time

TheColbertinator66d ago

We should leave Obsidian alone. Bethesda on the other hand should be kept under constant psychiatric observation.

anast66d ago

Skyrim feels like the game was made in a hurry with a disorganized team.
