The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Collector's Edition Unboxing

that dragon looks cools, it would be a nice addition to other collector edition's figures.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking too. I would love it next to my halo reach statue. But $149.00 is hard to swallow with mo in-game extras at least. That art book would look nice on my coffee table. I may just switch my reservation.

I'd say its worth it, even without the in-game extras you have to look at the size of the art book itself. Usually you receive something the size of the game case, but book is 4x the the width of the case in length.

Also the dragon figure is tall, looks like it'll be 12" in height. which is awesome because figures at that height usually are $80 minimum. I just hope they put a lot of detail on it rather than just something stale looking.

Let me work this one out Oblivion collectors edition included a nice fold out box, map, making of dvd, book, metal coin and of course the game for £50.

Skyrim includes a plastic statue, map, making of dvd art book and the game for £130...Somthing doesn't make sense.

Oblivion CE was the best value, anyone that wants to pay £130 for Skyrim CE with a PLASTIC statue is just showing developers that people are still willing to pay insane prices therefore causing developers to rip off the rest of us.

It wont be long before developers start charging £130 for just the game and making of dvd...And you know what? Theres still that few that will pay for it.

So you don't agree with the quality of the items in the COLLECTOR'S Edition.

You see it as just a plastic statue when others see it as a item to add their collection.

Simply if the items don't equal the value shown to you then don't buy it.

$200 in Australia for this addition I felt was a little too high. Many others didn't though as it sold out here pretty quick.

I notice they're still flogging those GOW 3 replica Lancers at Gametraders too, some people will buy anything.
The best collectors edition I've bought recently was Dead Island, it had a T-shirt, post cards,DLC codes, a keyring and a Turtle Beach X-12 headset for $128....and the game was pretty good too.

I would punch my way through a nursery to have a working copy of skyrim right now... let alone the special edition.
