Vito Pilieci writes: Two Ottawa gaming companies are about to be thrust into the global spotlight, thanks to some graffiti and a kid with a can of spray-paint.
The kid isn’t real, and neither are his artistic efforts. Instead they’re the focus of the new video game Sideway, which will be the featured game on Sony Corp.’s PlayStation Network (PSN) all next week.
The “showcase” spot, which is part of a month-long Only On PSN promotion, means Sideway will be front and centre for PlayStation 3 (PS3) owners the world over every time they turn on their gaming consoles. Sony has sold more than 51 million PS3s.
