Fraggs.net: Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, in my humble opinion, were incredible game-changers of their time. One took an escort mission, and made it kind of cool and emotionally interesting, and the other took boss fights and made a game around only that aspect. Both games are now available for $40 on PlayStation 3 in high definition, and to put this review in short: they’re both pretty awesome.
YouTube’s ‘reznoire’ has shared three new videos, showing three PS3 exclusive games running on the best Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3. These three games are The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection, Heavenly Sword and Journey.
Technically Shadow of the Colossus is a PS2 remaster on PS3 but it is interesting seeing the progress made with emulation.

Favourite video game boss fights for me are in The Shadow of the Colossus, very few other games have such good boss fight design.
I'd probably go with Terra's Armor from KH2 FM. The very assence of overpowered superboss, even Sephiroth can't put a finger on him... or rather it.
I thought the Storm King fight in Demon's Souls using the Storm Ruler Sword was effing awesome.
My major problem with this collection is that i just finished Ico and the last hour or so of the game has ruined gaming for me. How can i go back to regular games starring characters that look like Vin Diesel after experiencing the end of Ico?? I can't do it. I've never experienced anything that so closely mirrored my childhood daydreams. it's genuinely made me less excited for a lot of other games that are coming out, though I'm sure they'll be incredibly fun i know they wont affect me on such a deep emotional level and it's kinda sad. I've been given an itch that can't be scratched.
