Battlefield 3 Comma Rose Coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 (Rumor)

They didn't even have/announce commo rose until after the alpha for the PC either, but it was there.

If anybody speaks German here, then they can confirm the video as it answers several questions fans had.

CommoRose would be great to have: Press down on the d-pad to bring up a wheel and use shoulder buttons/dpad to select.

All they need to do now is drop 3D spotting and vehicle regeneration.

Yeah, a CommaRose on consoles would be nice, but just don't count your chickens before they hatch, otherwise DICE probably would have announced that they are including the commarose on all platforms at the same time.

Whether or not is commorose is yet to be seen but it will be something similar, that much is confirmed.

it's an interactive command promp, by pressing a single key, a wheel pops up and an array of commands becomes accesible.

i.e. heal me
i need ammo
gimme a ride ect.

Yh it can actually. Bad company 2 didnt even use all the buttons on the PS3 controller. The spot button was used on 2 locations; select and down on the d pad. So why not swap one of those for it? Or up on the d pad? I beleive that was'nt used for anything in BC2.

Hold the back/select button on console to bring up comma rose. problem solved.

Those are the spotting buttons on consoles. Pressing down on the d-pad would be better.

spotting is taping the select/back button holding it should bring up the comma rose :) i think it could work with select button.

It would be good if it was customisable on consoles. You choose four commands to go on each direction on the dpad.

You could have: Surpressive fire, Request ammo, Request a pick up and attack this postition or some other commands.

But remember, the D-Pad is used to switch to secondary fire, or special gadgets etc. Hold the Back/select button, and right trigger to confirm command.

true, same thing popped into my head but if its a choice between comma rose or score, ill take comma rose. Maybe just have the score visible when you hit start button.

1) Anyone that doesnt know what commo rose is, never played BF2
2) It isn't needed and would not be effective on console, due to its quick mouse selectabity.
3) Its not worth complaining about until you play the final release of the game by which time no-one will care anyway as we will be to busy playing it.

Still, it could be simplified for consoles. Hold select, rose comes up, quick flick of the joystick in the direction of the command you want to issue.

Still better than running around trying to find a medic just so you get the context sensitive "NEED HEALS PLZ" command.

Has it occured to anybody that the UP button on the D Pad isnt used for anthing in BC2? That would probably work?
