Uncharted 3 direct-feed Gamescom playthrough

Sony has released the direct-feed version of the Uncharted 3 Gamescom walkthrough.

Yeah dude "sniff, Sniff" That was amazing. I felt all emotional at that part. Uncharted better not make me cry this time around. I am grown man.

I agree. I really felt the love in that scene. He loved her enough to want her to stay behind so she wouldn't get hurt again. But why is it these people never understand that the other person feels the same? I am sure Elana doesn't want to see Drake get hurt or die either.

And this is without facial animation tech like L.A. Noire, not saying L.A. Noire is bad tho' but somehow they failed to deliver emotion throughout entire game..

The issue for them is that their actors are stuck in a chair unable to move at all. It is pretty hard to express emotion without moving anything.

ND lets the actors act everything out with their dialogue. That way they get the real emotion in their voices. That facial animation is all done by hand though, which just blows my mind. It is just unbelievable how real the faces are.

The tech behind LA Noire is great though. It is just too limiting right now IMO.

You're probably mixing the general quality of the models/tesxtures with facial animation. No other games even comes close to L.A Noire when it comes to actual facial animation, but we can see that sometimes it's not enough to portray a scene - uncharted does a better job because while the facial animation is not as good, everything else looks better and this gives a sense of polish and balance to the actual scene (for example the gentle touch of hands). Naughty dog always excelled in that department.

actually you can, it has contra-rotating propellers. Thought those propellers( in the game) needs to be a bit larger

Sonys Killer App is called Uncharted! If I would buy a console it would be PS3 along with Uncharted 3!

Starting from "Don't please" for a minute, I have watched at least 20 times. The facial expression, music.......just amazing.
