Niitsuma thinks Mega Man X Iteration would fit best in UMvC3

In an interview at EVO 2011 with Ryota Niitsuma, he was asked if had to choose one of the Mega Man incarnations to include in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, who would he pick? Ryota stated he feels like Mega Man X would be the best fit from a fan popularity stand point, when talking recently with Destructoid.

Well it should be ok for Capcom, as whoever they leave out they can simply add them in 'Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 Extra Turbo Edition'

Capcom talks a lot of crap and they always make the wrong moves. But they have lots of loyal fans thanks to SF and Resident Evil games, just like FF and Square-Enix. And are these same dumb, blind followers that buy anything that carries the brand name the ones that make these companies to get worse instead of getting better.

They should have included him on the original roster...oh wait, it's Capcom. They know Megaman is worth a lot of money for DLC and people would be willing to pay full price if necessary.
