PS3 LIMBO’s Little Secret Is…

When it was first announced that LIMBO would indeed be coming to the PS3, Playdead confirmed that there would be a “little extra secret”. Then eariler today, Playdead CEO confirmed to VG247 that the “secret” was additional content. Now, we’ve got details of how to access this additional content.

I love arty and atmospheric games (ico my favourite) but to me this is just a platformer and a not very responsive one either.

If it wasn't black and white and had a happy sound track no one would give this a second glance.

I'm all for supporting indies but I just don't understand the hype, sorry :(

Though the platforming itself is nothing to write home about, the puzzle elements are pretty good.

All in all its a good game, definitely stands out from other dl games. Not worth $15 though imo.

PSN just needs shadow complex and splosion man (and Ms.) and I'll have no more xbla envy.

I beat it in an hr and 1/2 first time through... 6 sounds like you haven't played the game and feel a need to defend it...either that or your just really terrible at video games..

Heavenly Sword is longer than 5 hours if you play it on the hardest difficulty. All these people complaining about how short it is just need to step their game up.

I think it was only 1200 MS points when I got it. which was like $15.

It's a great game. Obviously some people aren't going to enjoy it as much as others but worth your purchase (at least at the US $15 price) if you are looking for a good quality title.

Supporting indie devs is great but I would never buy a game I already have again just to please some random game developer.

For a 4 hour game with apparently no replay value it seems silly. If a game is good enough, the devs shouldn't need charity to get recognition.

Im glad Im a multiconsole owner. Just got Trials HD, Limbo, and Spolsion Man for $10 on a disc for 360. I like that it keeps my HD free of the DL space. It also came with 160 arcade credits and a 2 day Live Gold card!

A sweet snag for $10 at Best Buy this week... glad I waited it out!

I just got through playing the demo. I don't see the big deal about this game. Some people make like this game, but I sure don't. I might have been a bit upset spending money on this. But that's just my personal opinion

It was the lack of a soundtrack that seemed to do it for me. it just didn't drag me in. Maybe some kind of intro would have helped i just didn't connect with the character

That's perfectly fine if you play the game and decide that it's not for you. It is NOT fine, however, to act like the game sucks just because it doesn't fit your personal taste. Even if you don't like the game it's easy to appreciate why so many people DO like it. It is a very well made game for what it is, an immersive (albeit short) atmospheric puzzle/adverture game.

i was really enjoying this till i got a few missions in and found it sufferers from what almost every game this generation suffers from.
i like to call it cut and paste syndrome.
create one level cut and paste it a few times, then create a new one cut and paste it a few times, then create a new level cut and paste it a few times, wallah a new game you have!
shadows of the damned is a better example of this, i was having so much fun with that till every freaking boss battle was wait till they spark the darkness, shoot a light shot to open up there weakness, then fill them with lead.
rinse and repeat.
was allot of fun the first time, but after that, well.
lets put it this way, everyone loves ice cream right?
well you would not love it so much if you had nothing but that to eat for say 2 years.
now would you?

There are more than a handful of indie games that are really great.
I mean, yeah, at times the price can be steep, but the devs/creators/etc. all have to get paid, & I respect that the games may be bit pricey.

We should be concerned once indie devs start releasing incomplete games, forcing you to re-purchase the same game multiple times (cap-cough-com).

Absolutely fantastic game, loved playing it and getting the 200 gamer score - glad that PS3 users have a chance to play this game an hopefully Playdead will release the next as multiplatform from the off
