Brink Takes a Swipe at Console Gamers while Deleting PC Gamers’ Characters

Kotaku: Oh those silly console gamers. They couldn't possibly handle the advanced PC gaming concepts like objective-based teamplay. Why, if there was a bug in the game that say, deleted their characters completely if they exited the game too early, console gamers would be beside themselves. Wait, there is?

I remember this bug in Condemned 2. bummer.

i got this game on PC, so i may not have the char problem, but i get the awful frame rate, the even worse gameplay, and the even worse graphics. lucky me.

i've never been more disappointed about 50 dollars in my life. and i feel like all the websites that did previews for this game really let me down.

Worse graphics? What, do you have a really old PC?

It might be poorly optimized (I don't know because I haven't played it) and it might run like crap on your rig, but I've already seen the comparisons and the PC version easily looks the best.

it may look the best, but that doesn't mean it looks good. and my rig is just fine. i can easily max out crysis 1 and 2. and since you admittedly haven't played it on pc, you probably shouldn't express an opinion based on ignorance. google Brink + Framerate and you'll see tons of people (mostly ATI users) who are having problems with it.

but that aside, it's just not a good game, or even an enjoyable game. it's a dull, uninspired experience. and this was my most anticipated MP game of the year, so imagine how hard it is for me to realize that.

the game clearly looked boring right from the start. If it were pc exclusive it could of been so much more, but those nasty limitations of consoles ruined it. Just too ambitious.
