I have ME2 for both 360 and PC, if you have a decent graphics card I would say go for PC. Mouse and keyboard control is better IMO, and graphics look better as well. I did have to turn on AA and AF manually (no option in game) through ATI Catalyst control center, and that makes the graphics a lot smoother as well.

lol yea, its way better on the pc.

You don't even need a decent graphics card. The games are very well optimized and Mass Effect 2 is even more optimized than the first. I was able to play both with integrated graphics.

I'd disagree there.. Mass Effect 1 on PC is very well optimised, but has some extra graphical techniques that improve the visuals on PC. Setting everything to high on both Mass Effect 1 & 2 on PC, I'd almost go as far as saying that the first looks better than the second.

@sjaakiejj

You can't disagree with me. I ran Mass Effect on high settings with my integrated graphics and Mass Effect 2 on medium settings, too. Though both were running on lower than my native resolution.

I didn't post an opinion; I posted a fact! That's how I was able to play through both of them. Now I have an actual video card and can run them both on high settings at my native res.

I must say, & this is a rarity for me but a graphical improvement is way down on a list of priorities for me concerning me3. I want varied gorgeous environments w great fleshed out characters to supplement the best writing in video games. Since they went in the direction of 3 rd person action, they have to make the combat more fluid and natural. From everythinread hav read, they are doing this. In a year of so many triple a titles, this is the one im looking forward to most and I am an rpg nut, skyrim 2nd. Bioware is so damn good at creating a fantasy world and delivering a story on par w the greatest fantasy novels and movies.

They don't really need to improve the visuals in the game. ME2 is still up there with the best looking games around. From these screens, its clear the lighting is vastly improved on, which is impressive and all that's really required.

IcarusOne4800d ago

I agree with the first part of your statement, but not the second. I don't really see a difference in these shots. But I don't care. If ME3 looks identical to ME2, I'm still okay with that so long as the story continues to deliver.

I cant wait for this game, it's truly an amazing trilogy. I would love to see them release a collectors trilogy pack once me3 is released.

The only thing I think they should improve on is having the world a little more open. Every level was very linear. It was a great game and I loved it, but I think it could benefit a little by having it a bit more open.
