Kotaku: "We haven't seen the controller for the next Nintendo console. (Nintendo hasn't sent it over to us yet. Thanks for nothing, Miyamoto!) But we've been stitching together the snippets of info we're picking up from people who do know what the controller is like. So we just had to sketch it out.
Illustrator Sam Spratt took the details we've confirmed (and our direction after holding up iPhones and tablets to Wavebird controllers) and gave it three earnest tries"
It seems it was long time ago. A bunch of friends spending hours on end playing RPG games, sitting around the table with the box of cold pizza. Excited about the story, listening to the Game Master, they were completely engaged in the worlds only visible to them and their imaginations.
The GM is the programmer, and in MMOs and co-ops, you can play with others. If you want to ONLY use your imagination for the visuals, read a book.
Scrawl: "Looks like we know how that new Compile Heart countdown is going to end. The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that Agarest Senki 2, known as Record of Agarest War 2 in the US, is Compile Heart’s newest title."
1) Hope they put it on disc this time.
2) Hope this is a positive for Neptune coming over as well.
Is this a half decent SRPG, porn aside, cause if it is, i might just decide to go and buy it for the 360.
This is not the first time that Bless Online receives a server merge in Korea. An announcement was made on the official Korean site.
Bless must be an amazing game to be on all these platforms (according to the tags): iPad iPhone Nintendo DS PC PS Vita PS2 PS3 PS4 PSP Wii Wii U Xbox Xbox 360 Xbox One
The analog sticks will be to far away from each other to worry about hitting your thumbs together, why is all of them having the analog sticks like the 360? I bet you didn't know, it is more accurate for you to have the analogs on the same level, than like the 360 analog sticks.
People seem to have some high expectations for this controller. Hope their wallets are as big as their imagination.
So far I like the leaked control better, something like IGN's mock-up.
look like a lightbrite board with knobs
If the controllers for Wii 2 each have their own screens, as well as motion control type features like gyros and environment tracking cameras, then the systems surprise feature may very well be some sort of a shared augmented reality game play.
A system like this totally fits Nintendo's DNA. It would offer an extremely unique and exciting gaming experience which is focused on a local very social multiplayer experience, and it's something the competition would have a hard time ripping off (ie a new area with blue waters/no competition.)
Image 2-4 people sitting across/around each other in a circle, each with their own virtual window into the same game world.
So when you look at your controller/screen, where ever you point it you are looking into a world that appears to be projected into your living room, a world which could be shared by any one with a controller.
This would work very well with many types of games. Imagine smash bros in a shared augmented reality style 3d playing field. Kind of a isometric/top down view where each person has their own view into the same world.
Now imagine poker, any card game for that matter, board games, arena style figting games, and all kinds of fun and very social aps....
Just a thought.....
