New Mass Effect 3 info revealed

No Mako though? Awww, hopefully we'll get something decent in return at least, nothing like that stupid Hammerhead though, I hated that thing.

yeah, instead of fixing the Mako exploration sections (making them more interesting) they just removed them after ME1, sad really as i thought this was an area they could really improve upon and make the game stand out from most RGPs, instead we got a pretty linear, long 3rd person shooter. It was a good game but it is what it is, I dont really consider ME2 an RPG, not compared to ME1 anyway.

i was one of those who liked me1 for what it was an rpg with shooting elements. what me2 became was shooter with minor rpg elements so its nice to see them atleast try a few more rpg elements

I hope they dont make it like Dragon Age 2, all this info is very encouraging and it seems Bioware is back to earth after that hammering they got from DA2.

I'd rather drop down the ship like in ME1 than the crap they gave us in ME2... one of the most boring mini games in the game. Playing pin cushion sucks good thing for the upgrade on probe numbers.

Exactly, everything about the game was streamlined for fast paced action except for when you had to spend 10 mins mining one planet for resources. Not even the ship upgrade helped out that much.

I really hope that "Fighting more dynamic" doesn't equate to the Dragon Age 2 "Awesome button" , i'd much prefer the combat to be more "Traditional" rpg , where your stats actually make a difference and it's not just about mashing Fire as quickly as possible. This is easily my most anticipated game this year.

am I the only one being bothered of the Earth invasion? I mean at the end of ME2, you defeat the reaper and ruin the collectors' plan. what's the point of going through all that if Earth is going to be invaded anyways? I mean, there is a sense that you wasted your time.

I sorta agree, but the reapers were supposed to invade anyways. They never explain what the collectors plan had to do with the invasion. So you stop the collectors from taking other humans, and kill a new reaper. If you saved the station they hint that it could be used to help fight back, but that fairly absurd considering the number of reapers in dark space (and I'm not sure that's canon.)

They need to explain why the reapers are even targeting earth since gaining control of their ME relays would be far more practical as that was the point of them taking Citadel in the first game.

Stay strong bother. Us rpg fans are outnumbered by adrenaline shooters 10 to 1. They're not grateful, but we still hold the line even when they can't see it.

We will not accept thermal clips, pitiful few weapons with no mods, or a sea of waist high boxes cluttering every room.

tired of these same old games. Mass Effect 1 was a different type of shooter. A shooter that combined Action, Strategy and RPG elements extremely well. Sure the game at its faults but at least it was something different.

They turned a great RPG shooter into a generic, action first shooter. It makes me sick.

I completely agree. I missed the weapon overheating, salvaging weapons and selling them for cash, and the MOTHER FUCKING RPG ELEMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uh.. Mass Effect 3 is showing to have more RPG features than Mass Effect 1 did.

Also, thermal clips >>>>> Infinite Ammo.
