FYC Review: WWE All Stars (THQ: Stop Pissing on WWE)

Feed Your Console says:

When I was a kid, WWF as it was known back then, was something my friends and I very much looked forward to each and every weekend. Before the time when wrestling was on Raw Smackdown and Pay Per View events, we would cheer on our favorite wrestlers and whenever Saturday Night Main Event was one (which was very rare) it was a pretty big deal. When I learned of WWE All stars and saw the incredible roster of wrestling greats some of whom have left us for the big ring in the sky – I was pretty jacked up. The graphics looks great with their stylized characatures and arcadey gameplay I was sure it would be a great game.

Was I ever wrong.

Amazing what passes for a review nowadays and also what will get approved here. Some random rambling with very little game description outside of bitching about play modes is enough to give a score, apparently. As is scoring a game against your memories of TV shows from decades ago.

Then you just make sure you give a score way different from anyone else so people feel the need to check it and you get paid for your advertising hits.

Trash review, save yourself the time.

WCW/NWO World Tour and Wrestlemania 2000 were peak wrestling games. Back when wrestling was at the top of pop culture, everyone in school would watch. The gameplay is phenomenal and create your own characters opened up the door to WCW vs WWF. What a time!

WCW/ NWO Revenge and Here Comes The Pain were haven't been beaten.

I was always partial to the arcade wrestling games like Saturday night slam masters, wwf superstars, wrestlefest, wrestlemania, wrestle war and then a NES classic... pro wrestling. By the time the N64 era of wrestling games happened, I wasnt into wrestling much anymore (tv & games).

It was all about the Starman Somersault or the Tiger Claw!

Starman was awesome. I also remember a tan dude with bright yellow hair. Good times!

A lot of hours went into those two games

Virtual Pro Wrestling 1 & 2 > Most games on that list.

Also, WCW/NWO Revenge should be #2 minimum.
