Damn right. We need the rpg back in the game. It should be an rpg/shooter not a shooter/rpg. I want a complex and fun battle system with balanced classes and highly customisable characters and weapons. Leveling shouldn't be as straight forward. It needs more depth so an element of strategy can be added to the character development system. This means we have to think more about what abilities we choose to advance when we level-up and there needs to be a proper trade-off between abilities. This can only be done by balancing the usefulness of abilities. ME2 was too streamlined. And for heaven's sake bring back the ability to sell weapons and items and remove the boring mining mini-game and replace it with something that is somewhat enjoyable and challenging. Phew...

I think the Rachni will have a massive part in ME3. Just a guess, but that seems to be the case from the set up in ME2.

Edit: Thinking of it though, did the PS3 version of ME2 have any options to choose the Rachni's path?

- Shepard's on trial, but what if you didn't play Arrival?
- Cerberus is trying to kill you, but what if you sided with them at the end of ME2?

Ashley Williams. She was a companion in the first game that may or may not have died based on decisions you made in the first game. I think if you play ME2 without playing ME1, she's dead and Kaiden is alive.

Sounds very good to me. I'm not worried about quality issues. This team is different from the team that made.......that game! Sounds like this team is smart.....combining the best elements of 1 and 2 for 3. Also, Kaidan and Liara were my constant companions in ME1. Great to see them back in the team along with Garrus and Joker. KNEW Cerberus couldn't be trusted! Seemed obvious to me the ONLY reason TIM spent all that money to revive Shep was because he/she was the ONLY person who could deliver what he was REALLY after...The Collector Base. Glad I destroyed it! HA!

Finally the gun restrictions are over! now you don't have to pray for forgiveness/miracle whenever you run into a YMIR MECH while playing as an adept or vanguard in insanity.

i don't like that earth is under attack right from the start of the game and the fact that you have to ask for help to the rest of the galaxy. my sheppard pretty much screwed the entire galaxy by being a 100% renegade/ahole and now i have to ask for help like a paragon f a g .

No multiplayer sounds good, that means all resources are being focused on campaign. I can't wait to play this game, hopefully it will live up to ME2, but I trust Bioware in making that happen. I already have my character ready, with all side missions complete and everything set up as I want it for the next game.
