IGN: "Patapon 3 comes to PSPs everywhere on April 12, 2011, and IGN has been playing the hell out of it for the past few days. I'm a bit of a Patapon nut, so my plan was to turn my life over to the rhythm-based RPG and tear through it for an exclusive review.
Two issues: this game is frickin' huge and online multiplayer is a major part of it. I'm more than 15 hours in and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. Meanwhile, the servers just went live yesterday and I just began recruiting IGN readers to help me power through the online portion.
If you've never seen one of these IGN features, it boils down to the reviewer giving you daily updates on what's happening in the game and how it plays. That way, you have an idea of whether the game is for you."
The first game set to be added to the PS Plus Premium Classics catalog for the month of February, 2025, has been leaked early.
Remastered versions of both Patapon and Patapon 2 are already available on the PlayStation Store and also via the PS Plus Premium Classics catalog. It now appears that the third entry will also be joining them later this month. The PlayStation Plus Extra game catalog and Premium Classics catalog lineup for February, 2025, should be announced this Wednesday at 8:30 AM PT / 11:30 AM ET.
Nelia writes: "There are plenty of older PlayStation franchises that deserve a PS5 revival. Here's a list of some that deserve it the most."
Legend of Dragoon
Dark Cloud
Rogue Galaxy
Ape Escape
Syphon Filter
Sly Cooper
Twisted Metal
Folklore
Tiny Tank
I’m just shocked that Square doesn’t do more Remakes of older IPs. Xenogears and Parasite Eve would be killer... although 3rd birthday does make me lose faith in Square being able to make a decent Parasite Eve game, but if they treated it like Capcom treated RE2 then it’d be incredible.
It’s that time of the month again folks. The time where gamers collectively gather all over the internet to criticize what free games they get this month. So, who plundered the other’s fanboys for all their self-worth and gratification in life? Who was the victor in July? Let’s take a look.
Hmm, Warriors Orochi actually looks like something I'll enjoy. Hell, even WWE could be fun.

I really believe this is the reason there is so much hate every month around the free games. Some fanboys cannot stand to lose any pointless internet console battle, ever.
I'd say about even, overall Xbox has been doing much better and ps plus has continued steady pace, I'd say both games with gold ps plus are about even in there monthly offerings noadays
I applaud this decision.
So many reviewers these days play a game for 2-3 hours, *maybe* finish the campaign/sometimes even skip the MP, and then write their review. Or at least that's the impression I get. And considering the depth that some games offer, it's completely unfair to do the above.
I'm glad that at least IGN is giving Patapon 3, a game that offers hundreds of hours of depth, professional treatment.
(Looks at edge...*vomits*)
The reviewer CLEARLY loves Patapon. I wished the rest of their fellow reviewers would have someone who enjoys a certain genre of their respected games to do the same.
