GC: Set in the near future when a mass of global crises somehow enables a united Korea to conquer most of the United States, the player is cast as a revolutionary trying to help fight back. The plot is so thin Tom Clancy himself would probably be put to shame, and that isn't the worst part-I've played games with awful stories before and lived to tell about it. The most insulting thing about Homeftont is how it constantly tries to trick the player into believing it's special.
Jack writes: "Back in March 2011, the first-person action shooter Homefront arrived on the Xbox 360 from THQ, along with a storm of publicity which included a really cool live-action trailer"
Last week game dev Steve Thornton took to Twitter to ask: fellow devs, have you ever slipped something into a game you're working on that's just for you? The replies are well worth a read.
Deep Silver and Humble Bundle are currently offering the first Homefront game for free. This offer will last for the next 48 hours, so be sure to visit its Humble Bundle page in order to acquire your free copy.
get it! the single player is excellent and intense and the MP is pretty fun, too.
Ehh, PS4 needs these deals too, or consoles in general we always get discounts rarely free stuff that's REALLY free (games with gold / psplus isn't free)
F'off with your bullshit review. 3?...Go get site hits elsewhere
A 3/10 seems low. I will give it 5/10.

"Homeftont"
There is a run on sentence that doesn't really make much sense. Thin plots somehow put Tom Clancy to shame? Huh? You've lived through games with awful stories? Trying to trick the player into believing that the game is special is the most insulting thing about it? Why is there so much drama being flogged about here? Can we talk about the game and not how it violates some imaginary social contract about how games are supposedly properly expected to do things?
Could you please at least proof read your ridiculous crap "controversy-drama" reviews before you post them ?
Ok Im usually not one to come and defend a game if someone gives it a low score.
But a 3!!! WTF!!!
A 3 is for a game like Battle LA. And even I would rate that a 3....a 4 or 5.
Homefront is NOT a 3 out of 10. A 3 is for a game that is unplayable and not fun...a game that is horrible on ALL levels.
Me personally I would say a sold 7. Good but not great.
DOnt want to knock this guys opinion but a THREE (3)???
