WWE All Stars Review (PlanetXbox360)

There are two kinds of wrestling games – the ones that take themselves super-seriously (like the WWE Smackdown vs. Raw games) and the ones that “let loose” and try something different, like the old-school Midway release WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game and the Nintendo 64 grapplers. It seems we haven’t had a release that leans towards the arcade motif in quite some time – which is what makes WWE All Stars so welcome as it arrives this week.

It's alright -- better than I thought it'd be, but it's missing so much that these reviews aren't touching upon yet. I'd hate to see it go the smackdown route, but there does need to be a tad bit more depth. And loads more features. It's awesome and I'm enjoying it (for a wrestling game), but there just isn't a whole lot here when all is said and done.

The roster, while good is lacking many wrestlers who should be in. Less MiZ and more classics

Also, I wish they would've had classic Kane. Original Kane's suit is missing. So is the undertakers original outfit.

I agree with you on the Tag and Presentation but personally it's the most fun I've had with a WWE game in a long time; plus it's going for a more broad audience than the other sim-style WWE games...

DLC for the alternate Kane and Taker suits maybe? Is it true you can't customize the moves set for CAW?

I went from thinking this was the dumbest thing to hit the market to thinking this is the most fun I've had with a wrestling game since Here Comes the Pain.

I'll be picking this up tomorrow.. kinda suprised at the 9 score. I figured this game would be a solid 7, but I'm a WWE fan, so I was getting it either way.

Much better roster of legends then the one offered in this new game. The only thing this had going for me is Eddie Guerrero.
